Why can’t Drake do the same for hip hop artists in Toronto? Give them their “fist #1”. He rather do features with ATL artists, Afro Beat artists or UK artists. They both will go down as legacy artist but in different ways because they are two different types of artists. Drake will be remembered for his longevity and having the longest existing career in terms of being consistently relevant and a top charting artist. Kendricks legacy will speak to his artistic integrity and innovative art that consistently pushed boundaries. His catalogue will have that timeless factor. They are both great in different ways, so to judge and rate them based on the same criteria would be unfair to both. They are simply apples and oranges in terms of their approach.
