6000mah battery, large flat uninterrupted display, great cameras all for significantly cheaper seems like a no-brainer

I've never owned a vivo phone or any of its subsidiaries. I had a couple of Nubia phones in the past and I really enjoy their camera philosophy. I hope Nubia does better now with updates and google software. It was really bad in the past.

The colors are SO pleasing on the Z60 , reminds me of CCD, or Leica , very beautiful saturation and transition, even the shadows ... marvelous for a smartphone

agree. it is no doubt that Vivo has more "details" and sharpness when you zoom in on the photo but it looks a bit artificial and flat when compared to the Nubia ones side by side

​@@cupofjava2it is because vivo's photo is mostly not original image, it is "redrawed" or enhanced by their AI algorithm including all the extra detail. It is very good, but the drawback is when the AI doesnt recognize the scene or object in the picture, the photo come out mediocre. On the other hand, Nubia AI is to be avoided altogether as it is bad at it's job. Most of the time, its even worse than original picture.

I think your weighting system for your ratings is fine, this is just a unique phone where you pretty much are throwing out the selfie cam in favor of the clean notchless display if you are buying it.

Nubia RedMagic 9 Pro cannot compete. Its a gaming phone concentrating mostly on gaming and only equips a midranger camera setup. OnePlus 12 sadly I am unable to test

I think the Nubia has more of a DSLR vibe and color science, which i like, i find myself using 35mm crop most of the time on my Mi 11 Ultra for pictures, i also think 35mm would be better for content creation videos, as i often shoot at 50mm

Another great review... Looks like the Nubia captures better fine details than the Vivo.. letters on road signs etc, are easier readable than on the Vivo. But how does the video recording quality Z60Ultra compare to the Z50S Pro? 🙂 Have you tried updating your Zenfone 9 recently? The last update I installed did something to the camera system so now the main camera isn't able to focus on objects that are further away than 2-3 metres, and battery life did become so bad that I have to use the power saving modes 24/7 otherwise it'll run out of power within 6hrs. 🙈

Very good revie The Nubia really needs a software update, I've using it for 4 days and with GCam it gets so much better In all lenses, specially in selfies.

Nubia should if you buy it from Nubia USA. Vivo I think only T-Mobile as its a chinese or EU import. Please for the future only one comment. I removed the other two

A truly scrupulous and detailed review 🆒,I was shocked by the positioning so low in your ranking of the pixel 8pro, and the position so high for the iPhone which tends to always burn the color of the sky and grass, it has too much overexposure and then when you zoom with the ultra wide angle the iPhone's AI does not process the process like the pixe but tends to mess up the whole image. Too bad the z60 has fallen so low, but today a new update for the camera arrived, two in 5 days, perhaps they are working hard to harmonize this trio of super cam.I think that anyone who buys a z60 does so aware that selfies are not of interest to him, in my opinion the percentage should be lowered to 5%😉Those who buy the Z60 do so for the beauty of the front display and for the flexibility of the rear cameras, all stabilized with OIS and very powerful, obviously as I have noticed and also from the your review, when zooming it tends not to be as super sharp as live, for example in zooming the sharpness and precision of the pixel is superior because Google's AI is years ahead of everyone.I congratulate you again for the work done in a very professional and fun way.

Nubia is close enough and i would choose the 35mm as a main shooter over the 23mm any day. i wish other companies will adopt this someday. But Vivo does better processing with that V2 chip, so it has better picture clarity and colors overall (except for its ultra wide that sucks big time). Isnt there an option with Vivo for a macro shot with that 100mm 4.3x lens? i thought it worked always.

Requesting camera comparison between galaxy s24 ultra vs oppo find x7 ultra, yoy are the best in putting camera specs especially the apreture size that we the photographer care alot about it. I dont know why manifacturer dont put the 1 inch sensor for portait lences.. nobia is getting closer to put the main sensor with 35 mm. I like it

The nubia is such a good-looking phone like a minidisc player

I don't own these phones so I judge by the results. I don't like Vivo artifacts and oversharpening and less details but one time the Nubia did it too. But I don't like the front camera of Nubia, it seems it's only for Zoom or Teams. At the end I like the Vivo main camera at night.

you have to see which bands are being used by viva and then use "kimovil frequency chacker" and typ your country and see if those specific bands are supported by this model

Camera wise, there will be a comparison pretty soon. Otherwise the speakers are better on the Z60 Ultra, the display a bit more vibrant and power saving and the battery life is better on the Z60 Ultra. All in all the Z60 Ultra is the better device.

I'm choosing between Vivo X100 Pro, OnePlus 12, Nubia Z60 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Oppo X6 Pro. A really good camera with a good telefoto is the main criteria. So thanks for this comparison, also a comparison with OnePlus 12 would be great. Nubia and OnePlus have Band 20 (essential in EU) and global firmware, also Oppo has Band 20 but no global firmware. So I'm trying to understand if Nubia and OnePlus are way worse than the 1 inch phones, or just a little bit :)

For me, the selfie camera in any model is completely dispensable. Therefore, the fact that it looks horribly bad on the Nubia is not a problem. I simply don't use that camera.

0:47 - Nubia Z60 Ultra has Periscoped Telephoto camera with (3.3x) not (2.4x). You have to correct this.

Nice i was waiting for someone to do this comparison. One thing that I don't understand is, why they keep trying to put a camera under the display instead of just doing a full screen design and idk, put a small display behind so you can record yourself with the main camera lenses?

And another strange thing, my friend has bought the red magic 9 pro and we were surprised because we can clearly see the hole with an orange tone. It's only with some background but I didn't see that in the reviews.

@@maariojm On the Z60 Ultra it depends on the brightness of the screen. So if its dimmer you can see it. If its brighter you don't. I only see it in a dark room where it dims quite a bit down. Not in daylight at all.

Oppo Find X7 Ultra will be a slightly upgraded Find X6 Pro so yeah it will probably beat the Vivo X100 Pro and Mate 60 Pro in my ranking list. Well have to wait to get the phone first to be hundred percent sure.

What did you expect of an under display camera then? I think the technology reached a stage where someone has to ask himself if it makes sense to invest into this rather than for example micro front cameras that you can place in the small black bezel around the display to still have an "edge to edge" display without punch hole or notch.

@@lltechview I think with AI upsample progress & computations getting better at figuring out anything in 2 years, the output can really improve alot but unless glass material change to sth slimmer or one new material could blend with glass to replace the top screen section with that, i don't see ROI will be worthy

What about huawei ?? I asked it becoz it got ban in 2019. And its really hard to get a new huawei phone....some of the countries are not selling it either. Since i am a huge fan of huawei

I somewhat question who is into phograpby enough to want the classic prime lens focal ranges vs standard smartphone setup but would love an under screen front camera that is barely useable. Nubia showed that pure spec isn't everything. Nubia is going well to swing in rhe big leagues As always, would love a physical 2 stage shutter on a photo centric phone but only Sony give natively and Xiaomi by the dedicated case:(

Photography wise Nubia Z60 ultra wins hands down.

I can see the main camera is the same as Z50SPro. Flagship quality for sure😊😊😊

They tweaked the lense however. The chromatic aberrations and sharpness of the lense is different and improved.

@33:26 - It is a man in both advertisements on the sign, except the Vivo X100 had AI beauty mode turned on which made the man look like a woman! 🤣

Die anrufe reißen andauernd an, Voice over WLAN funktioniert auch nicht. Ich könnte ein vivo x90 pro um 400€ bekommen denkst du das man noch mehr Handy in dem Preisbereich bekommt?

@@Hi-levels Vivo and Oppo offer a sports mode where they keep a higher shutter speed. Mate 60 Pro also has such a mode but I am not so happy about it. iPhone suffers sadly In terms of video the same phones.

A like does not give me the money to buy the S23 though. :P MKBHDs ranking system usually is flawed (at least was in the past - did not see its current one). So you get zoomed out shots and have to decide. Usually the stronger artificial sharpening and colours a phone pumps in the better it will be on this kind of ranking. But I will check out the new ranking video and see.

It is though. I rechecked and doible checked other shots. Portrait mode is not active its the normal photo mode. The aperture is pretty large with f/1.59

@@lltechview I believe you. Just barely get this look with 1/4 lens on my fujifilm camera. F 1.6 is not real aperture ff wise, phone brands show focal length as ff equivalent but they do not show aperture ff equivalent. actually f is much higher number, so not that open. I am not sure, you did more of checking anyway. great job too, everyvideo is better than the on before.

Which one? Both feature slow motion 120fps on the Nubia in 4k for example. Vivo 240fps 1080p

@@lltechview I bought the Nubia finally. This phone is a Beast! But that 120fps doesn't work at all. It stutters then gets back to normal speed. I will have to pass on it
