You could do it plenty of times and It probably would not break as they have designed this to last for a lot of actuations (the find x was designed to last 300,000 actuations I believe)

I really hated the idea of pop up motorized selfie cams on phones until I saw how well designed and built this unit is. I think that design will easily last the life of the phone and it’s a really cool party piece!

Exactly! I have a Vivo Nex S like that since December 18 and still works very well! The screen glass broke, but the camera is working like a charm.

They fit a freakin motor for this camera , and Apple say they cant fit a “headphone jack” ..

That looks like a pretty solid mechanism on the camera and, even if it were to break, pretty straight forward to go about fixing.

Honestly I wasn't a huge fan of this trend. But I gotta say I'm digging this vivo nex's mod. Great video ❤👍

Why don't you make it yourself? Buy a heat gun if you don't already own one (the "Wagner Furno 300" is very good and costs ~20$/€) and buy a good double sided tape (or an adhesive that melts at low heat). The instructions are pretty clear, shouldn't be too hard to make.

I know I'm really late and off topic but the flame test I think is good for checking how thick the glass is. The longer the display lasts before burning, the thicker the glass maybe. Anyways. This phone is the best one to be clear. It's sick!
