Hello! I have a Husqvarna in which everything is in CM. I have taped, marked with markers and even marked on the fabric to stay within the 1/4, 3/8/ 5/8 size. When I saw this I wanted/needed this to have the exact sewing seams. So Super! I loved my sewing machine; now, I love love love my sewing machine, thanks to Vivilux!

My sister got me one of these, once I fixed the problem as to the laser light wiggling around once you get it attached to your machine. On Amazon, alot of buyers complained about this. I fixed this by glueing 2 small wooden clothes pins on the face of the machine, taking care not to block threading the machine, the pins clamped to the black laser tubing, keeping the light lined up with needle no matter how much you bump the sewing table or machine. I've even moved my sewing machine to another room, turn the laser light on, NO readjustment was needed to the laser line.

Hi Sue, I Love this notion! My machine does not have this capability and the three different dot, line and cross hair capabilities. Anyone who has cataracts like I do definitely needs this notion! Thanks for reviewing this awesome notion.

I love the laser light. When I quilt or piece, I use the line. Embroidery I use the crosshair.

Hey great video! I was wondering if you could give me some tips on using this because no matter how long i leave it to charge, the laser light itself is super dim. I almost can't see it at all. I have to turn all the lights off to use it which is counter productive then of course because i cant see to sew in the dark. I want to love this product so so much but my own experience and over half of the reviews for the laser on Amazon mention this same problem. So let me know if theres something I may not be doing correctly or maybe even some blindingly obvious common sense task that I may just be over looking. Thanks so much for any advice and info you may give. HAPPY SEWING 😊!!

The Vivilux lights and laser systems are super cool. The gold foot was part of a promotion a few years back for BERNINA

Sookie - I bought it and attached it to the top and the line travels all over the place. I am wondering if it would hold in place better if I peeled off the velcro and put it on the inside like you did - I'll try it tonight - do you have any other suggestions?

Give it a try for sure. I know that it took me a bit to get it just right and then I was super happy.

Great gadget for those of us who do not have machines with built-in laser lights. Would be so helpful sewing those fiddly 1/8" seams on projects. Thanks for the demo!

Exactly. I use to have a machine with the laser light and used it for stitching all the time but this even has the cross hair and dot as well!!

@@SookieSews So very upset 😡!! It was DEFECTIVE and missing the grid!! It was advertised as""NEW" but it wouldn't turn on after charging. Woe is me!! 😭 Sending it back tomorrow but order a new one. I will definitely keep you informed 😉 😊❤

Not dumb. They are for placement on embroidery but can be used to help you find the center of anything

I do use them but not as much since I have a new sewing space with more light. I take them out though when I'm sewing at night.

Change your playback speed. You can slow it down.

Your video was speeded up on parts of this. Wish you could go slower on a new video. Oops, just read the Amazon reviews.
