You know Bartoli is good when in every performance of this aria, she has to be mentioned many times. She is the reference. Vivica is awesome tho!

I love how she feels the music. That's how it is when you love music , you feel it to your core.
I don't know what more I admire her voice or her beauty.
MUCH better than her other video of this, which was from 6 years earlier. You can really tell that in that 6 years, she worked diligently on controlling her jaw more. Still needs a bit more work on it, but the improvement is remarkable! She does a terrific job here!

Unsurpassed and unbelievably brilliant.
she seems like the most gracious, sweet lady in the world! (and it actually seems like her jaw is moving less than in other videos i've seen of her.) ehhh, who cares about the jaw. I mean, it is....strange. but she's not ashamed. she's so comfortable in her own skin and such an accomplished musician with a very unique and beautiful timbre to the voice, an amazing singing technique regardless of the flapping lips! Add to that her sunny personality and gorgeous good looks....she's totally delightful!

Sensational! We saw her and Sonia Prina in Paris in concert in Oct 2017, a Vivaldi cantata with Fabio Biondi, it was also amazing! Phenomenal technique, bravissima!

No cabe duda de una excelente interpretación, lastima que el audio está fatal, aunque opino iguan que @Eleonora Troncone, para mi es mejor la interpretación de Bartoli

Although the sound here is poor, don’t let that out you off listening to more of this wonderful singer. Try especially to see the Genaux/Puertelas performance of Stabat Mater conducted by Christophe Rousseau. It’s on YT.
Curious if Vivaldi has seen in his time this type of quality soprano.

Este volumen sonoro de la orquesta es poco elegante con el solista. Incluso una orquesta moderna puede hacerlo mejor y más sutilmente. No es un duelo.

Bartoli est excellente technicienne mais la couleur de ses trilles est trop engorgée pour moi , Vivica est plus charnue vocalement , lis large
