@@j.d.r.5491 I mean, it's one of the less common cases where a lot of the sounds are tied directly to physical phenomena, and in a concrete way with its accompanying text. As far as classical music goes it'd have to be among the less abstract. Although, I do kinda prefer to think of that big violin solo intro as something more raw and elemental than 'teeth chattering'/'shivering'. In any case it must be combined with abstract/impressionistic at least. And the 'wind' is combined into the same expression. Not overly cut-and-dried.

Like this for three reasons, first, it features all 3 movements of the Winter. A fact we often forget, is that Winter is a 3-movement concerti. Second, as a live video it includes some well-chosen winter landscape, to fit the music, which is as beautiful as the music itself. Three, the musician herself has mastered this piece, without overwhelming other musicians' performance. We can hear every part of sound. And the speed is moderate, I don't like it toooooo fast, too voilent. One thing to blame, maybe, is the audio's quality, but it's the least.

:39 is perfection 1:12 is amazingly brilliant. from 2:21 and 2:30 flows into 2:58 nicely. 5:58 sounds spot on 6:30 builds up to 6:53. 7:15 up to 7:50 is the holy grail sounds. 8:25 and on would make Vivaldi live once more as i do now. The rest of winter, they show off with perfection. That my friends is an Angel among many.

what an amazing interpretation...I would have shouted bello or something like that and stand..ALso she brings to her interpretations some nuances of the piano expression which really keep you on tiptoe and surprise you all along the way. Its such a crisp playing and technique as well. What a great talent!

OMG another great playing. Crisp orchestra strings, and admirable solo playing. I never heard of this Fischer but she has a delightful baroque spirit. This orchestra is splendid also. They go together so well.

Tempest there are 4 strings on a violin. The E string makes the highest pitch sounds so is therefore the thinnest. Sometimes so thin it’s very hard to see
