In the unedited version Vito also tracked down, and butchered the gunman who called out to the villagers, day and night, threatening them for daring to hide or shelter young Vito Corleone.

The best scene in the film The villa and the mediterannean sea horizon Just by looking at it you can smell the countryside and the memories

Gutted him like a fish. Sure, it wasn't like he had a lot of years left, but still extremely satisfying. It was a self=fulfilling prophecy too. Imagine if he had spared Vito. None of The Godfather would have happened.
