Overview:
This video explains how to add a new AST card in the VITEK 2 software.
Steps include:
1. Log into the VITEK FLEXPREP
2. Enter a cassette ID
3. Enter isolate and scan card barcode
4. Click validate or card another card VITEK
5. Click the QC box if setting up a QC card
6. Scan the card and select the QC organism from the list
7. Click “Send Cassette” button when all cards have been entered for the cassette
