The most under rated three time world champion and under appreciated champion . Never been on the canvas .Not once . The only two losses were due to injuries. One against Byrd . He dislocated his shoulder and decided he can not continue but was ahead on all score cards at the time . in the rematch he hammered Byrd . His other loss was against Lewis but not because he was outclassed. Far form it . it was Lewis that was gassing and Vitali was ahead on the score cards but the fight was stopped because of a bad cut above his eye. He was never stopped by another fighter. Toe losses due to injury . Three times a champion and YET he still is under appreciated. The only fighter in history with a PHD in sports sience and now Mayor of Kiev. Beat that you tomato cans out there i say! HE is still relevant and still matters. now no longer in the ring but on the map of geo politics . Lewis ? Resigned himself to home life getting a bit fat and bald . Lewis never gave Vitali a rematch . Vitali actually retired Lewis . I saw him interviewed last night on the news in regards to the threat Russia poses to the Ukraine . Very good. Top man . A man of many interests . Speaks several languages too. Fluent in German and English notably . MOST unusual fighter . Smarter and more shrew then most . Most fighters dissapear from public view after they hang up the gloves. NOT Vitali.

What nonsense, fighting with a torn rotator cuff is ridiculously stupid, there is no telling what permanent damage he could have done had he continued. Vitali is very tough, he is no coward, against Lewis he was desperate to continue fighting despite his face being completely bloody, so when he decides to quit a fight you know he has good reason.

I agree he might have never been able to fight again. Would that be worth it? Clearly no. He would have been a nobody who had one brave performance, but the Chris Byrd fight was way before Vitali's greatness.

Of the 3 cruiserweight champions that fought the Klitschkos, Gomez did the best. He was also a much more accomplished Cruiserweight champ than Haye or Adamek. Gomez had 10 title defenses.

Gomez wasted most of his career. He had talent but never had the discipline to step it up. For awhile cruiser had Alot of flawed but fun fighters that matched up to make Alot of fun fights. Mormeck, O'Neil Bell, Jirov, James Toney, G.Jones, Kelvin Davis, JC Gomez, ect. You can mix any of those names together and you would get a entertaining fight out of it. Oh and fuck David Haye. That shallow waste of space had his team edit out parts of his past fights that made him look bad. This was leading up to his fight with Wlad. I've seen some Alot of shit in boxing but editing your own fight film is the most narcissistic thing I've seen in the last 20 years. Haye was an athlete with a good right hand besides that he was a punk. His heart pumped Kool aid, not blood.

Fight should have been stopped in the 7th round. The ref just let that man take unnecessary punishment when it was obvious he was finished and didn't want to be there any more.

I agree with Atlas most of the time when he goes on about toughness and the essense of fighting, but he talks a lot of bullshit too. Especialy for someone who never actualy fought properly at the professional level himself and whatsmore, for someone who is very close to athletes and the sport. Klitchko didn't even quit himself. They told him his leg was too torn and they knew well he would compromise his own health and carreer really bad or for good if he carried on. He has been one of the toughest boxers in history, Atlas shouldn't talk out of his arse so much so to impress people and justify the money he gets...PLEASE !

Atlas talks more bull then anything enlightening . THREE times Atlas routed and hedged his bets on Wilder. THREE times ! That really tells you something about Teddy . Not much between his ears . Yes good point you made here. Atlas actually never got far as a pro and he got beaten up as can best seen by his nose that is as flat as a pancake and had been broken many times so he turned trainer before more lasting damage was done to him and his face . Atlas often sounds bitter and belittling of others impecable records while questioning it which may come from the fact that Cus let him go after he threatened Tyson with a snub nose once threatening to shoot him over a dispute . That was the end of Atlas as a trainer for Tyson .

Zach Mandelpoop Bit harsh, he’s obviously not chiseled in his physique but he’s a world champion in the division directly below and is 6’3. Doesn’t feel right to just call him a fat cruiser but I do agree that the Klitschko’s opponents were on average pretty pathetic.

В этой весовой категории, по крайней мере с началом эпохи телевидения, был только али класным боксером, все остальные чемпы брали своим. У Виталия отличная антропометрия, реакция,, тайминг, функционал, держалка, своеобразная техника, но при этом слабый нокаутирущий удар

*****​​ byrd did not get lucky how lets brake down the fight at the time vitali bitch out he landed six more punches with 3 rounds left in a heavyweight fight when all it takes is one punch byrd is a high level fighter with 3 rounds he would out point any one with one arm vitali knew he would not out land the slippery byrd for six more rounds not to mention vitali only had. #6 more punches at the time so how could anyone predict how the rest of the fight would of went that fights shows vitali is no.
