Nice to get an answer from someone who know his Metal. I actually didn't know they're such an old band. I received Decristianize,heard it once, but it was a nightmare to get through that record. But I have checked out the old material,thats MUCH more my style. The brutality is still there, the old vox are even better than Benton.Lots of good old school riffs,much more atmosphere,also some midtempo & blastbeats is in the right speed.I read the new album will be short 3-4 min nr's in old style \m/

I have to agree with Emofreak, regardless of his silly name, This guy is good, Scott Wily is kicks ass too, and of course Glen is awesome too. Ive seen Vital with Glen once and with Scott twice. Vital Remains always has a different live lineup everywhere they go, sometimes when I see them theyre tighter than others, but theyre such a fucking kick ass band live and on cd. Theyre pretty untouchable so I cant really see how people are shitting on the singer

I understand both of your opinions..NO doubt, that they ARE very skilled musicians (NOT the frontman,I prefer Benton).I am a musician myself, but if I want to hear skilled DM-musicians,I listen to Dying Fetus,Morbid A.,Meshuggah,Gojira,Cannibal C. etc. VR are insanely fast(though its fake blasts,he only blasts on the snare,the other hand hits half the times on hihat/cymbals),VR have sick guitarparts/soli,but fact is,that it easily gets too noisy/chaotic,when u hear a VR live-track 1st time \m/
