Visualizing Civil Projects using the Autodesk AEC Collection
The AEC Collection provides a tremendous amount of tools capable of accomplishing most any civil infrastructure task. In this 60 min. presentation I will demonstrate how the applications work together to create compelling visualizations of a roadway design.
Specifically, we'll be looking at workflows using InfraWorks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

This was a great video. A compilation of various shorter ones you've done over the past few months and i've watched everyone of them. Great to see how the whole project comes together. Keep up the great work.
Brilliant! I always find these so informative. Thank you!
Amazing Jeff. You do the things so easy. !!!
nice Jeff, I love these presentation videos this hour in reality 3 or 4 days for a proposal project :D
Dear Jeff Bartels, you're really something in AutoCAD. I'm your student for your Lynda's Autocad Tutorial and you're my first trainer for AutoCAD. *something could be amazing, fantastic, .....

You are welcome Fabian! I'm glad the recording was helpful!
Brilliant thank Jeff. Any chance you can elaborate on how you created the “striped” line marking styles?
Jeff, great video as always. Would you mind creating a video on generating a shapefile with tree attributes and how to have infraworks read these attributes?
Nice vid. I'm currently looking into getting this package from Autodesk. It's costly but it does give an edge on proposals.
amazing and awesome job and well done Jeff Bartels

Awesome video Jeff, thank you! Question: At 22:20, how would the LA or surveyor originally make the tree shapfile that youd import into infraworks?
Is it possible to create a VR experience where you have horizontal movement as well?
Hi Jeff. amazing video! Where do you find all the materials and street furniture you used? I use the 2021 AEC collection version and I find only very few details.
nice video sir

You're welcome!
thanks for you , your videos was very helpful , we will appreciate if it's possible to create a video about FDOT project
How did you create the grading parking lot? Do you have a video for that?
Awesome video, could you please share how you added the road markings? is this from the closed plines or from LineWeight Plines ?
Jeff, do you also train through screen sharing? I'm from LA, CA. Thank you!
Jeff, Where did you download the ACE people models from? I have been looking around and can't seem to find any. Also, thanks for the great tutorials I've learned alot from watching them.
I have tried the land.xml method many times, yet my surface never comes in correctly. The existing surface basically overides my proposed surface every time. I have a similar parking lot, I created with feature lines and it doesn't work. I have also modeled that same parking lot as a corridor and still the same. The existing infraworks terrain doesn't allow it to display correctly.
please create for us videos for autodesk structural bridge design
Hello sir I hope you will be fine. Sir I have a question totally out this topic and the question is that please if possible mention the hardware that can run smoothly the AEC Application. You are experienced application engineer and I think you will know about the best suitable WORKSTATION PC that can handle the load of these applications. If possible mention a short view on hardware. Thanks and regards as always
How to do markings on the road?
