Visualization of tensors - part 2A

In this video we visualize the electromagnetic tensor. In Part 2A we use it to represent magnetic fields. Part 2B extends it to electric fields as well.
Part 3 will dig deeper into the mathematical definitions, and show more example for physics.

A word on what's coming next: Part 2B is almost ready and it should be published in a few weeks. I decided to split them only recently. Then I plan another sorting video. Also planned for 2024: part 3 in the tensor series, and more.

Dude, you're releasing these videos while I'm taking solid mechanics and getting my first introduction to stress tensors. Granted we're doing a massive simplification of these ideas, but getting a more in-depth understanding of tensors is really cool and something that I'm sure will help me further into my degree.

Keep making videos, you explained this subject very nicely and intuitively, giving me the motivation to learn this subject and not spend hours upon hours in frustration trying to get the intuition for this subject, you deserve more, thank you for this video.

The best explanation of Tensors I have seen, thank you, made it really clear and easy to follow. I can already see how these now apply to General Relativity. Really looking forward to 2B, the amount of work /commitment you have to put in to create such high quality material for us is staggering. Please keep it up.

3:27 what makes this one non-linear? How are we supposed to tell this one is non-linear just by seeing one layer of it? How do we know that it doesn't scale linearly as it grows? You didn't show it at different sizes, or give any other reason why it is necessarily non-linear.
