This is the friendliest lion 🦁 I ever did see 😊 ☺. I've seen lions be affectionate with their adoptive human parents but not with people who they barely even know. I know he's been sort of raised in captivity but this is truly a once in a lifetime event. They are social by nature but never did I imagine in a million years that a fully grown lion 🦁 would be this affectionate towards more than one person. These tourists must be having a blast 😃. I'm low-key jealous 😅.

Your comment is the most intelligently stated. This lion being friendly with complete strangers is in fact unprecedented in video history here on KZread. This is a priceless video.

eddy, same here. for those going through the comments, I've got good news. God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God will not allow sinners in heaven; in His presence, because He is holy. so, God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is severe and just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps: 1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost. 2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell). 3. believe that Jesus (who is God) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins. 4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of your faith and self-righteous works). 5. pray to God NOW that you're accepting Christ's free gift of salvation because if you die before making this decision, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🥵😈 6. and to be a disciple, tell people about Jesus, read the bible, go to church regularly to know God's will for your life.

If under constant kind human contact from birth - these big cats are very tame creatures - thus dependent not only on food - but on emotional comfort as well. I had two uncles who went quail hunting - were headed home - when a Bobcat jumped on top of a downed tree. They shot the Bobcat - and when they went to examine the kill - they discovered it was a mother cat - for inside the hollow of the downed tree - were three infant cubs crying. They brought the cubs home and attempted to feed them cows' milk with an eyedropper. There were two females and one male - the male accepted being fed with an eyedropper - the two females did not and subsequently, they died in a few days. The male survived and without the parasites of nature and an unearned - unhunted - constant diet supply of raw meat - that Bobcat named Bob - was extremely friendly - and a massive cat - bigger than most found in nature - due to a reliable diet. His coat was incredibly soft and with routine grooming - and constant attention from me (7 years old at the time) Bob was a house cat and I think he weighed about 38 pounds. Playful as could be - a loud purr - and a robust cry. And a night owl - staying up late watching the old black and white TV with the family until the national anthem and sign-off. When Bob was about a year and a half old - nature was born out of his maturity - and he got out of the house and ran away into the woods - never to be seen again - we figured a female in heat must have been in the woods - sent can cover up to five miles. I missed having Bob around - and today - I miss my grandparents and their farm - the greatest days of my life. Wasn't just Bob - through the years - two Raccoons - a squirrel - and an Owl - were accumulated wild pets. All were eventually freed. All that was missing was Ellie Mae.

I mean one nip in the neck with those jaws and that ladies head is detached from her body. What if something startles it or it smells something that it thinks is a territorial rival? I can't believe they let this happen honestly. There have to have been "accidents" before although it looks like it's been a while since one judging by the behavior of the staff in the video. There are so many incidents (high profile ones) of animals that were raised by humans since birth and still one day something didn't agree with them and they hurt / killed someone. They act mostly on instinct like all animals. Even people can snap and hurt other people one day after a lifetime of never hurting anything and in fact that is usually what it looks like.

@@JamesAChambers Before visitors arrive - they feed the lions really well - full tummies (if they don't eat they keep them in their cage) - then they tranquilize these cats - so these animals are high as hell on opium and endorphins - thus all these cats are super calm - and their natural inclinations are in total la-la land - the chances of violence are extremely rare. Like never. Such feel-good drugs work wonders on women also. Women who have access to such narcotics are way less likely to file for divorce - but may be more expensive than the cost of a divorce. I read an article once in the American Trial Lawyers Association Journal - where 99% of all women will at some point in their lives - either hire or consult with an attorney. The other 1% work in the Porn Industry. Bill Gates's wife has divorced him - but then he is the nerd that named his company after his private parts - so that marriage was doomed from the start. I'm thinking about opening a competitive business to Microsoft - I'm going to name my company "Gigantic Firm."

@@himavanthdhanvanthri7401 Should’ve been more specific. I see now why you’re confused. Take music for instance. Everyone understands music. The singer may sing in a language you don’t understand. But music is a language everyone does understand. We all understand beats and rhythms. A singer can have a nice voice to listen to whether you understand or not. Music is an international language. Being accepted by an animal, be it a domestic pet or a predator such as a lion, too goes beyond the language barrier. Everyone understands the concept of acceptance and affection be it from a person or an animal. They trust you. You trust them. I’m a cat owner. I have two now and one of them didn’t instantly accept me. He avoided me and slowly grew to trust me and wants to be around me. His litter mate sister took right to me. I’m accepted and trusted by them. I’ve never encountered a lion. I don’t know if they’re like my house cats. How I scratch my cats may not be accepted by a lion. But to be accepted by a lion who could kill you in seconds, goes beyond the language barrier. Not spoken language, but the language of acceptance and trust from a lion an animal that can’t be fully domesticated. And no one wants to do anything that can accidentally tick off a lion. Love is a language of affection and trust. It needs no actual words. Trust is a language of sorts. It has to be cultivated. One doesn’t need actual words of a language. Obviously a lion can’t understand you telling him I like you. But they understand a gentle touch, they know what behavior isn’t threatening by you and they reciprocate. My cats know I love them. They don’t understand words of love but they show affection. And affection transcends words thus it goes beyond the spoken language barrier. Animals use body language. You learn to understand it. Humans use body language that you don’t need words to learn to understand.

What a lot of you don't realize is that these are still WILD ANIMALS. It doesn't matter "how great the person is who raised them." It is instinctively natural for a wild animal like that to be ferocious AT ANYTIME. Anything could've triggered that animal causing everyone on that trolley their lives. Don't you people watch the news? It starts out just like this where the animal lives almost his entire life as the sweetest & gentlest creature, but one day, for whatever reason is suddenly triggered & attacks anyone in its sight. That was beyond negligent of whomever was in charge of that situation.

  • @DoubleplusUngoodthinkful

@@janicerogers6049 It doesn't take a wild animal. Cats snap all the time. I can't tell you how many times I have had my hand or ankle shredded by a pet cat that I know adores me. They just have that tendency to take their moods out on us. The difference is that a 10 lb. cat that snaps gives you some scratches and then apologize later. A 400 lb cat will remove your head. There's no coming back from that.

This one is obviously very tame, but lions do fight among themselves, to establish dominance, and for food. Big cats that are human raised are amazingly similar to house cats, but if a house cat starts playing a little too rough, you can spank it on the butt and chase it away. I have to confess,I would've loved nuzzling with that big, beautiful kitty.

you're so right Fretnes... it would be so amazing, but I would have to know the individual cat. I did zoo school as a kid/teen and got to handle all sorts of younger big cats, but we adults were in the areas we didn't go, only real zookeepers (we did get to go into their holding cage area, and all other back areas, but not into their enclosure proper). We never had much of a biting issue with the baby siberian tigers compared to house cats at the same age, so there's that at least... :D I handled lion cubs only a few times, but they were nuzzlers not fighters :D The baby orangutan just was thirsty but like a human baby liked to squeeze my finger while it drank from the bottle.

I would also love to have been on that trip, and it's great that it went well, but it could have gone bad in an instant. Some of the people were scared, which isn't good around a big predator, they were making loud noises, the one old lady swatted at the lion once- any of this can set a wild animal off. People should not be in this situation without training.
