You know, if you think about how awesome most people are in the car culture, it's such a blessing. I am not a huge fan of these cars, but I can certainly admire and appreciate the time and love that has gone into these cars. Much respect for all car enthusiasts.

The AE111 was built from 1995 to 2000, many with the 20V 4A-GE. Shown is the facelift model from 1997 on. We used it in summer and winter as our main family car, ours has the normal 4A-FE. Luckily we were able to get a ZVW30 Prius and could make our AE111 Levin a summer-only car, because it is very rare. Great video!

Great to see you at the OG circuit Larry, that little green Mazda was badged the 323F in U.K., was cool at the time because it had that 2 litre small stroke V6, which I think was the same motor that went into the Ford Probe. That colour was popular in U.K. Never seen one with the Mazdaspeed kit 😎 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Mazda 323 car from the late 80s early 90s. We got them in the UK and there is even a very rare 2 door coupe. But that Mazda speed body kit is amazing. Any chance of doing some Japanese motorcycle culture also visit some of the builders as well. Like Zero MC's.

The US got a similar engine to the KF-ZE in that Mazda Lantis. The KL-DE was 2.5L and was in a ton of Ford Probe GTs , Mazda MX-6s, and Mazda 626s. There was a JDM only version called the KL-ZE...people swapped them here in the US. They all have a variable intake runner system that would give them a high RPM power boost, not unlike VTEC. I surprised some Civics back in the day in my Ford Probe GT...lol I hope to visit Tsukuba some day!

Don't know if anyone remembers, the closest thing we had state side to the v-6 mazda was the MX-3, but it was 2 door, the v-6 was a 1.8 L K8-DE with a whopping 130 HP from what I could find, but it was kinda similar.

Awesome footage! I would love to visit so much! The KFZE engine is a performance variant of what we got in the US in the Mazda MX3 (K8ZE) I think its a 30HP difference. If I remember correctly they are the smallest displacement V6s in a production car (2.0L) I was very much in the Mazda MX6 / Ford Probe / MX3 / 626 world in the 00s. I had several 2nd gen Ford Probe GTs , one with a KLZE swap (JDM Probe/MX6 engine) These cars have always been under appreciated underdogs but they are all great.

That Ford Focus is a Euro car first and foremost not American. The Mazda Lantis in that greenish Teal colour was a Mazda/Eunos 323 back in the day. Im surprised you guys did not get those there. Never knew they could race the CRZ's....thats wild and cool. Skyline 4 doors are an Aussie Fav cheap alternative the GTR/GT-T/S. Suzuki Swifts are awesome, especially the RE versions (old school GTis). The AE101 are basically a new shell and protector of the valuable heart that it has in it. Its the same for the Aristo (GS300) for the Supra and Soarer.

The female car scene in the US sucks because a ton of girls do it for attention at meets or social media since it’s so easy to do due to the low ammount of women in the car scene. It takes away from the girls who want to actually drive their cars and they get heckled by people to their face unless their car is so nice and expensive it can’t be made fun of. In Japan I feel like that’s intimidation factor isn’t there for women on the same scale.
