Visiting Tipplers Anchorage on South Strandbroke Island as We Cruise The ICW in Queensland

Episode 376 : Season 12 : Sailing Australia
Hello Friends,
On this episode we provision in Broadwater Bay near Gold Coast and start making our way up inside the Intracoastal Waterway. We had to move the with tides inside the ICW so we only traveled about 10 miles each day. For the first night we anchored at Tipplers Anchorage on South Stradbroke Island and had a wonderful hike across the island seeing kangaroos, wallabies and golden wallabies! We also saw a number of beautiful birds we had never seen before!

Looks fantastic. Liked "Lol Strand broke Island. " Some would say it is broke. However, it's a super busy place on the Weekends. Hundreds of jetski, power boats and cruises. Don't forget to see the Ship wrecks at Tangalooma. Beautiful water. If you get time, explore the island to some amazing lakes and fresh water runs. ( K'gari. Formerly know as Fraser Island) Safe passage.
