I liked the setup of the museum. It reminds me of the ones in Alaska. Every picture has a story. All the displays have a description. Not just a bunch of stuff displayed. Truly a learning museum. Definitely someplace that I'll stop in my wonderings.

Great job! So much to see there. I have been there about ten times and always love it. The old hearse in the big indoor museum reminds me of the poem "Because I Could Not Stop for Death" by Emily Dickinson. They used to have a three-or four-day bluegrass festival every October, called Tennessee Homecoming. I was sad when they discontinued it. It was good beyond words. I'm glad I got to go several times.

You and Jerry did an awesome job with this video. I had to stop several times to google people, but interesting history. Then you added food and gifts! Two words…ROAD TRIP. Two more words, thank you.

Great video. So informative about the museum. My daughter lives in Tennessee, so now we need to plan a trip to visit. The deer loved braids on the AT. The peacocks sure loved you and gave yall a beautiful feather show. Hey Jerry. So great to see you both together have fun. Wow the food looks delicious 😋.

Even in my lifetime (b. 1956), the world has changed so much. Granted, life these days has a lot of advantages, but sometimes I wonder just how much we've lost in the process. Life was hard for these folks, but they made do with what they had, and were grateful for it. Maybe that's why people like us enjoy the outdoors and getting away from the modern world for at least a little while

With this video Gretchen, you could do a collab Video on Appalachia with kzread.info/dron/P87Uu3q9IDUpEl1xr8-VQA.html. Very good stuff! I don't understand the reason of the Peacocks, but I do know when I was last down in the lower eastern section of Kentucky I was amazed to see some just wandering around like they owned the place. Celebrate your heritage! It was spread far and wide (even I have connections to the mountain towns)! Cheers!
