So glad I came across your live on tik tok. Pyramids were amazing today
Wow so beautiful
Thank you for joining me on my fishbowl tour of Hatshepsut.
I'm a black woman from the UK- African Caribbean. Am I safe in Egypt? I've heard comments about that Egyptians are quite hateful towards Africans. But I'd love to visit the country.

You will be safe, don't worry. But please - avoid scams and bring some pennies. Like 1£,2£,5£..
Love the vids! Keep up the great work. Greetings from the US.

Thank you for the tour! How is the overall Egyptian attitudes towards westerners/Americans? We would love to go but worried that westerners would not be welcomed. Thanks again! 👍

They love western people because they bring $$$ so don’t worry about that. But I’d advise having a private guid rather than going with large tour groups

@@SamMayfair That Makes sense for sure. Thanks for the quick response! I can't wait to watch all of your videos. If you ever need a topic a good one would be to describe the basics of making a trip to Egypt, time of year, approximate costs, what to definitely see vs what to pass on on a first trip. Thanks for taking the time to make and edit your videos. 🤩

Nothing wrong with restoration, as long as it's expertly done. Otherwise, most ancient sites would be bits of rubble. Fortunately, the Pyramids were too formidable to be taken apart by latter Egyptians. It's too bad most of the casing stone was removed. I do worry about the throngs of modern day tourists, with their strollers, soda pop and bubble gum. Like a plague of locusts they descend.
There is absolutely no evidence that Thutmose III killed Hatshepsut.
