Visiting Sukhothai in Thailand

We continue our journey in Thailand, after Ayutthaya we go to Sukhothai which we greatly preferred. The first capital of the Kingdom of Siam can be visited in an idyllic setting in the middle of the jungle and the birds. CLICK ON “MORE” FOR ALL THE INFORMATION.

Advice:
Be careful when planning your stay in Sukhothai because the city is divided between the old town and the new town. It takes 20 km or 30 minutes by Tuk Tuk between the two (for 200 thbs)
The old town is ideal if you want to enjoy the temples. On the other hand, the new Sukhothai is livelier in the evening.
We stayed in the new Sukhothai in a great resort: midtown Sukhothai resort for 22€ per night (address: 39/8-12 Loethai Alley, ธานี Mueang Sukhothai District, Sukhothai 64000, Thailand).
As restaurants we tested:
. Poo-Restaurant
.Manu chopper barber
. Chanda's historical garden
The historical park is divided into three sections:
- The essential Central Zone
- The northern area
-The West Zone
Each time you enter an area it's 100 baht entry + 10 baht for a bike
Rental of a bicycle for 40 thbs per day.
