In this video, we vlog our trip to Rye Playland on Saturday, July 30th where we were there for the ACE (American Coaster Enthusiasts) Event, Coasters on Rye! This was also our first time at the park, and we had a blast! Huge thank you to Matt for giving us permission to film on-ride POVs!

Best part is the splash water falls
As a former Rye resident (1972-2019) Playland Amusement Park was built in 1928 and is an historical landmark. When you live in Rye other than ice skating in the winter it you really don't go. I had a friend Lawrence McGowan no longer with us who worked in the Rye Playland paint shop. Mariah Carey film the video there as well as the movie Big was filmed there. There is a 1929 video of the dragon coaster. Since my father passed away at the age of 90 four years ago and my parents were married 63 years all I keep thinking to myself as now there's no more going home.
