Yeah Id be willing to guess gopniks dont operate on an 8a-5p schedule lol. Hell a lot of working/non-gopnik people dont even do that. Know I certainly dont, working mornings/days is a miserable existence for a lifelong night owl. If the position isnt evenings or nights I wouldnt even bother applying for it. Even if it happened to pay more its still out of the question (extra pay is typically only given to evening & night shifts, so its a double plus)

While most sources say that average salary in Russia is around 500-600$ (which is total bullshit too), I'd say the real average salary is around 200-250$ which is far from "months wage to buy a Big Mac". You will not survive in Russia on 3-5$ for A MONTH. It's not possible even if you buy the cheapest shit there is. I mean, you can earn 35-40$ per month by working for like 10 hours a month. Your statement is REALLY far from truth.

Interesting video--seeing an area that rarely gets visited by foreigners or captured on film. Not getting mugged or hassled or whatever doesn't make a place not safe, but nonetheless it's good to show folks that wherever you go in the world, no matter how dangerous, most people just want to go about living their lives and have the same exact values, hopes, and needs as anyone else. hello Igor, thanks for the comment, but the truth of the matter is that I have lived in Several cities in Russia, including, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, and Khabarovsk. I have walked through the most dangerous parts of the city at 1am, and I have never been mugged, raped, or harmed in any way. However I did have my iPhone stolen in Beijing, in China, and My Hublot watch stolen in Chennai (India), while on holiday. The truth is, Russia is one of the most safest countries in the world and the people are kind, friendly, and the most hospitable, unlike the Chinese and Indians.

@TraviansLittleHelpe I always laugh at people like you and the way you think. You're trying to make it sound like nothing ever happended there and absolutley no criminal activity is going on there. There's a reason people are warning him. Just because nothing happended to him (and yes it's very early) it's more likely it will happen then lets say in other areas. Don't be naive.

I have found in my own limited travels over seas and from watching these videos people are the same most places.. Some of those Siberian towns are just like towns you would find state side... Many have seen better days for sure. Americans in particular should leave their bubble and travel more. Its very eye opening.

Во-первых, многие даже не знают там, что такое фунты. Во-вторых, что с утра-то гулять. Выйди в 17:00-18:00. Даже не в Ак-Довураке, в Кызыле. И фунты твои будут не нужны. Куртку, очки, телефон отберут, как и всё остальное, и обменяют на бухло. Хорошо, если не зарежут
