Visiting NIK RIJAVEC at his LOG CABIN
It was a beautiful sunny winter's day and I decided to visit my dear friend Nik Rijavec. I went through an idyllic snowy forest to his log cabin. The journey from my cabin to his one lasted about an hour and a half on foot. I helped him fix part of the interior stairs. I was happy to be involved in the repairing at his log cabin - Nik also helped me a lot with my little cabin.
It's always great to work with someone who lives a similar life and shares the same values. I respect Nik as a person and also as a friend. He is really a good friend of mine.

Quality workmanship from Quality friendship.
Nothing like a good friend you can count on, that’s what it’s all about! Quite a hike to get there and back just proves true friendship! Great job guys! What a beautiful piece of workmanship and art! 🤜🏼🤛🏼👏
The best solid cabin I have ever seen built on you tube….simply the best Nik!
That support log under glass really is a work of art by itself. Just a hint: Glass can be slippery!
Niks stair case and table are amazing
Neverjetno.Bravo Nik
Wow the table and the stair landing, I believe. Nik, you really know how to make the log home exquisite and unique, along with functionality. Good show. Happy New Year to you and your family. Glad to see stove in and fired up. Now you can work inside all winter long. God Bless 🐻🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
So enjoyable watching the transformation from wild countryside into such a lovely log cabin. We really look forward to each episode. Keep up the good work and letting us share in your endeavour.

I love these episodes....as it was my dream when i was younger. Very very detailed planning and so skilled.
There’s nothing like good friends to lend a helping hand.
Best collaboration of the century.
heartbreakingly beautiful, I lived on border of Canada last year, in Maine. I loved it! but THIS? WOW!
Some nice reveals in Nik's cabin... can't wait to see more
Thanks for the beautiful vistas of nature, I’m disabled and can’t walk or stand more than 20 mins so it’s always lovely to see nature in all its glory. Thank you and to Nik too for everything you do, I live vicariously through your channels.

@@jameswulzen590 I’m sorry to hear that James. I hope you get better, and it gives me hope that I can too, I’m trying my best but sudden temperature changes make it impossible to do much. I have a fused lumbar and right ankle and damage to my left knee and broken head of my fibula which has a plate and some screws holding it together. All this from one single accident back in 2011, life isn’t fair, but we do what we must with what we have. I wish you the best and hope you get better.

Nik appears saw in hand ❤️ Great video. Gotta follow a friend of Nik’s.
Everything it's just so beautiful !
That is a very nice looking stove when I was young in early fifties we had one similar to that and it had a big water tank with a tap the tank was on top at the back
Spectacular landscape but very isolated location.
Wadličnu! Thats one lovely table!
Hello Great Video. I have been following Nik for some time and enjoy his build. I will take a look at your videos, sure did enjoy this one.
Came and subscribed from Nik's channel. I've been watching him since before the pandemic~~ Will start watching all your videos soon

Hello! Thank you for your video! 👍
Nice music along with some great views of your area.
Shame there's no English subtitles so we can read what is said. Good collaboration Niks wife was helping with it til you came to help. It's a lovely feature and sits well with the root table Nik has already made. Log cabin goals.
Great to see that you guys have hooked up to do collaboration vlog...I follow both channel religiously
C'est bon d'avoir de vrais amis !
How cool 😎 are your movies 🤩🤩 Beautiful stairway 👊👍
Great video of two friends helping each other out---and hoofing it quite a distance to do so, lol! Now for my undying question: where did Nik get that huge glass table top for his corner? It looks like it was the picture window on an armored car, for Pete's sake! The thickness alone is intimidating and the weight??? It had to be that you two lifted a two ton slab of glass. Thanks for creating this for us.
Very nice i love this energy

What else would Nik show up with in his hand? Obviously with a saw. Great video.

Bet the Postman has fun finding that place
Hi. I'm interested in is there some wall protection behind the stove? I'm tracking on Nik for a long time and am bothered about if his home doesn't get any damage from fire.
Sublime travail

Thanks for sharing! I’ve subscribed to watch your cabin build as well. This is a random question, but I was wondering what brand of work pants you are wearing? I’m a field technician and always looking for comfortable work pants with lots of pockets :) looking forward to your next video!
