Really enjoyed this post, I attended MI way back in 1980, I absolutely loved it!! I was in PIT, drummer I loved the faculty back then, Joe Pecaro, Ralph Humphrey, Steve Houghton, Tommy Tedesco, Jeff Berlin, Pat Hicks, etc. ❤️❤️ wonderful times!

GIT grad of '99.. Thank you for changing my life upside down. I still study everyday to this day.. Not wanting to return back to where I was before I went to MI.. Thank you for giving me a wonderful musical life.

Man every program turning into a college. It's great it and I think your vision for this institute is amazing I just wish people like me who had to drop out of high school had a chance to further there skill set as well.

Mi only has 30,000 graduates.but their are millions of musicians in the world.people that enroll in music schools are low.you do not need a school to play guitar.school racks up huge debt.and 98 % of graduates from mi are not rock stars.they play for tips in bar bands

100 out of 30,000 alumnis that actually get a real job as a musician.you can get the same education from the internet books etc.being able to perform play what people wanna hear and having connections is more important than education from a school

I attended this garbage school back in 2008-2009 for the Music Business Program. Total waste of money! This school is stupidly expensive. I could have learned everything by spending $100 in books and getting internships on my own. I decided to go to a real, 4 year university after MI. I now have a successful career in education with benefits, pension, etc. Don't go here.

Music schools are bad investments.what they teach you can get off the internet.the best and most famous guitarists are self taught.music schools cost too much.only 2 to 5 % of musicians are successful in music

98 % of guitar students spend 100,000 $ to learn scales and be a mechanical nerd that cant play music.they dont get jobs make $ with their education.they graduate with scales arpeggios exercises and get a job in a gas station.making 9$ an hour
