Wow, amazing to see the fishing pier in one piece! We stayed at Plunge Beach Resort (May 2023) and it was fantastic. We loved the area, but the pier was closed because a huge section of it was missing.

Just want to say I like your intro music, I started watching your channel last summer and for some reason that music brings back those summer memories lol, so anyway, just had to share! Love Lauderdale by the sea, I feel on vacation when I go there lol, even though it’s not far from Hollywood lol

Beautiful footage...I was there by the fishing pier after the hurricane (can't remember the name) about 3 yrs ago..my son and dil had moved down there..my 1st time there in Florida... Drone shots were lovely!

Love LBTS 💘 . Great video and drone footage. LBTS is super for Snorkeling ( there is a Snorkeling trail under water south of the pier ) and its just about the only place where you can shore scuba dive b/c the 2nd and 3rd reefs are close...beautiful fish and coral. Stay well 🙏

Thank you for highlighting our small town village in your segment. I live in LBTS & absolutely love it. The height limit is 4 stories & the high rise condo's you were pointing to are in Ft. Lauderdale, just down the street from famous Anglin's Pier. LBTS is a village on the barrier Island & is 2.2 miles long on the beach with great reefs to snorkel, shops, cafes & nightlife to enjoy. It's just a great place to live, known as one of the prettiest seaside communities in the US.

I lived in lauderdale by the sea from 1992-1999.....right on Washingtonia and bougainvillea.....I could see the ocean for $125/week rent!!.......loved it there.......great town....

Thank you! I previously lived in Florida for sixteen years. Loved it. Had my Mom with me for about ten of those years. She had a blast! I took her somewhere new...an adventure... every month. Took her back to Texas for her final days..by the beach in south Texas...where she was raised. Returning to FL probably in Dec/Jan. Covid delayed me a bit, but I'm already packed. I appreciate your channel...and your honesty. Bless you. 😀

those fish are called needlefish or houndfish, very common during our summer months, ballyhoo usually arrives in winter on our piers.

you can't see it with the cameras shot, only with your glasses. you'll have to put your glasses over the lense for the polaroid view next time.

The fish are called houndfish the big ones are good to eat when you cook them with the bones inside the meat turns a baby blue
