Visiting closed-up businesses and reminiscing in Oneonta, New York
Ойын-сауық
My wife grew up in Oneonta. I've been visiting for almost 20 years. A lot has changed but Oneonta is still pretty cool. Also - Brooks BBQ's quality had slipped. I'm happy to report that during this visit it was FAN-tastic. Their new buffet was great and the food was all tasty. Also, I didn't get to include our FAVORITE Oneonta restaurant, Jay's Restaurant. Go there when in Oneonta. It's always so freaking great. Thanks for watching, friends!

That means a lot. I’m just having fun and trying to learn. Thanks for the nice words!
I KNEW you were gonna say Butter rolls! Went to school at Hartwick. Lived on Spruce St. for many years. I miss the Depot, and Doc’s sandwiches.
I really enjoyed this video because I'm headed to SUNY Oneonta for college in the fall, and it's really nice being able to see where I'll be spending the next four years of my life. Also your energy is infectious, keep doing what you do.

Thanks Stewart! You’re the man!
We stayed there for a week in July 2019. We flew in from Australia for our son's Basebnall tournament. I loved this Town!
its so weird and great at the same time to see someone post about oneonta ny, I just turned 18 and have lived here my whole life and while it's a great place i don't think it's personally the place i'm meet to live so I plan to move away but I am happy to see someone enjoying it as much as you do!
I used to work at the Farmhouse, that sucks it closed. I was born in Oneonta, haven't been there since 99. Thanks for the great video

Wow. Been a while. I’ve kind of accidentally done that to my hometown as well. Thanks for the nice comment. I appreciate it.
Awww my college town❤I lived above ruffinos and worked at the general Clinton pub
Go back many years ago, my favorite was Molinari's Italian Restaurant. Also Diana's on Main St. was also great! Both gone!

So sad seeing great places close. I miss so many.
I haven’t been to the Stewart shop in a while
Best Oneonta Pizza in no specific order: Alfresco's (their white pizza is excellent), Sal's, The Depot, and Tino's (slice with cold cheese).
i just to live there
