Ambikapur is a city in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. It is one of the oldest cities in the state, in east-central India. The name of the city is derived from the Hindu goddess Ambika (Mahamaya) Devi, who is the central figure of worship in the area.
Mahamaya Temple
This is a very old temple which was built by Maharaja of Sarguja.Ambikapur. Mahamaya Temple is an ancient temple of 15th century, belonging to the Kalchuri era. The architecture of the temple is very simple but it is famous as an extremely revered shrine among the devotees.
Oxygen Park
The park has been prepared here in 15 hectares, Ambikapur is the best place in Chhattisgarh. Mahamaya Pahar is being developed as an oxygen park.
This place is located in the center of Ambikapur. The city is located several meters above Ambikapur. There is also a watch tower on the mountain, so there you can see the whole city and feel the winds blowing and see the green area covered with greenery.
The best place for couples to have a good time Oxygen Park is also known as Lover point.
This is a good spot for a family outing. It is accessible by road and is not far from the city.
