Visiting All Nottingham Tram Stops
There are 50 stops on the NET - that's the Nottingham Tram system, and here's why happened when myself and friend Jono (who's from Nottingham) got on and off at all the stops on the network.
Note, we weren't timing ourselves to set a "record" time, but but it took us roughly 6 hours in the end, including tea break!
Correction: I've spelled one of the stops 'Bramcoat Lane', when it should of course be 'Bramcote Lane'
If you want a copy of my Nottingham Tram map, it's available here on my Downloads page: geofftech.co.uk/downloads.html
The 'Tram' T-shirt (and other variants) is available to buy, here: dztz.store/listing/irish-tram

Can’t believe you have done a video on Nottingham! The public transport is really good for such a small city it’s quite surprising!
Hey Geoff, not sure if you’ll read this, but you do an amazing job of showing us KZread community people things that we might never see or have heard of!
He's from Mansfield? Dear god, I'm sorry.
u just said "bas -fud" its pronounced "base-fud"
😁I'm old enough to remember Nottingham Victoria station and the wonderful Nottingham Trolleybuses. The city has changed a lot in 6 decades.
hey geoff, we went to nottingham in september 2018 everything by public transport even from france with the eurostar no london and from london to nottingham by train, and there we stayed at The Bentinck Hotel very nice hotel and centrally located opposite the train station and tram station and all buses stop opposite, that tram's were very cool and buses too and we have also been to the Crich Tramway Village by train, highly recommended with kind regards from Wietze Braem, from Belgium
Interesting video, I live ten minutes walk from Toton Lane, my local stop. Can I just point out Basford is pronounced "Baseford" not "Bassford"?
Well... that's the only other person I have seen paying for a ticket lol the amount of ticket dodger on these trams are unreal
The stop at Nottingham station and the ramps leading towards it looks exactly like something you'd build in Cities: Skylines.
Visiting the home of Robin Hood!
Geoff: “KZread, I’ve got a problem: I’m addicted to ticking off train stops.”
Visited Nottingham for the first time the other day - have to say I was really quite taken with the city . . . And being the transit nerd I am, i rode the whole tram network.
I swear I heard:
FINALLY YOU CAME TO MY CITY!!! It’s crazy seeing you walk the streets I walk everyday
Having grown up in Nottingham and now living in London it's surreal and unexpected to see you in my home city. I love it! It truly was a historic day when the long delayed tram service finally opened in the early 2000's. I was about 6 and felt like I'd been waiting forever at that point
Can I just say, as someone (as a student) who has to commute to Nottingham by the tram must days (from Totan Lane) I feel very honoured that the tram network is on here. This is the first video I've really watched by Geoff and I already feel inspired to do some of these trips that are in his video's
An idea for a future video maybe, like a sleeper showdown!? Caledonian VS GWR that would be awesome! Also MASSIVE fan! :))
My grandma lived in Clifton all her life. When me and my brother visited and we wanted to go to the centre, we'd have to take the bus. I remember it taking ages. It's good that Nottingham finally has a tram. A pity my grandma never lived to see it. :(
Meet people at slab square in front of the “Council House” at the “Left Lion”
Thank you for showcasing our wonderful city Geoff. If you’d have advertised you were coming I bet you’d have got others to join you. Hope you come again soon
