Visit Twin Falls Idaho | Snake River Canyon & Minidoka [4K UHD]
In this episode we visit Twin Falls, Idaho. Here we see the Perrine Bridge, Perrine Coulee Falls and Minidoka National Historic Site. We aren't here at the greatest time to visit, watch to see why.
🏞️Twin Falls is situated on the Snake River Canyon rim, offering stunning views and natural wonders like Perrine Coulee Falls and the Perrine Bridge, a popular spot for BASE jumping. The area is known as the Magic Valley region for its fertile farmland, vineyards, and orchards.
While in the Twin Falls area, we visit several of the sites in the Magic Valley. We also spend some time at Minidoka National Historic Site (NHS). This NHS preserves one of ten incarceration camps where Japanese Americans were forcibly detained during World War II.
⛺We stayed in Oregon Trail Campground, which is really more RV park than campground.

Twin Falls looks fantastic! I think you might need to visit there again in the future. It is heartbreaking to think about how Japanese-Americans were treated in places such as Minidoka. I appreciate you sharing that feature of our history, which is often overlooked.

I agree, we should certainly return to the Twin Falls area again in the future. We were saddened to learn of how the Japanese-Americans were treated, so many things that we didn't learn in school. Thanks for watching!
I live in Twin Falls and the best time to watch base jumpers is mid July on a day that there’s no wind
