I remember watching this video in 2014 when I was deadbroke, I couldn’t even pay the bill for water, it was that bad. Already couldn’t pay mortgage, electricity and all the other bills. I was at the point to live from food stamps. But I kept believing and kept going, now I am on my way to my first million. Keep believing dear people and keep going strong!! Love y’all ❤

Wow... Just took a trip down memory lane. I watched this video nearly 8-9 years ago. This got me through college. I was broke. I wanted to be a Mechanical Engineer. I had nothing but a vision of what I wanted out of my life. Fast forward almost a decade. I now make over 6 figures, AM a mechanical engineer now working on a Masters! And I have ALMOST everything in my vision from a decade ago :'). I stumbled upon this video again because I now need the motivation to push through my masters, and you have given me more than what I hoped for... Thank you, Mateusz! YOUR vision has helped millions. Beautiful video :')

The worst thing is when you feel that things aren't right, that you want to change yourself, want to change your life, want to stop being shy, stop being anxious, stop being stressed, but you don't know what to do. You want something, you feel that you want so many things different, but you're unsure exactly what you want to change, and how to do it. It's like you're trapped and can't ser an exit. You don't know if aything is wrong at all, or if it's all in your head. You get confused. But then, there are videos like this that makes all of those confusing and scary thoughts being crushed by a feeling of being able to make it, no matter what. Even if you don't know what you're supposed to do, these videos makes you feel that you WILL make a choice that will get you to where you want to be! Thanks Mateusz M. Thanks

I used to watch/listen to this video every single day around 6-7 years ago. Literally EVERY DAY. I can quote every word of it by heart, along with several other similar videos. At that time, I was working a dead end factory job living paycheck to paycheck, was single and lonely and horribly out of shape. Just overall unhappy with my life. Fast forward to today, I own my own marketing business which just surpassed $100k in Q2 of 2023 alone, I am married to my dream wife and soulmate, have wonderful children, am in good physical shape and I practice Brazilian jiu jitsu 4-6x per week. I sincerely believe that listening to content like this every day (instead of typical mainstream music, the news, or scrolling social media) and reading books such as Think and Grow Rich is to blame for how my life has turned out. Do not underestimate the power of what you feed your mind.

I still remember watching this video and other videos 2 years ago when my gf broke up with me. I wanted to become really fit, but I didn't have much knowledge or money for the gym. I used to workout with some dumbbells, a bar, and a bench in my backyard in crazy ass weather. I almost wanted to quit because it was hard and I was really sad and alone. Now 2 years later, I'm in the gym and my friends ask me for advice since I became really knowledgeable over bodybuilding. That just shows how powerful this video is..

I had joined a comptetive soccer team about 5 years ago, when I first joined the team I was probably the worst player there, and I would barely get any playing time. I rode the bench for 4 years, until I got tired of it. However my passion for the game is so strong. I was determined to get better. So I started to train even harder. I trained like I had something to prove to my teammates, coaches, family , and even myself. I now a year layer, I can proudly say I play all 90 minutes and recently been given the captain badge. But this just made me even more hungry. Now my goal is get in to a D1 college and I know its not going to be easy but I'm not stopping until I do.

The kid with the painting impacted me the most. That happened to me in high school (Grade 12). I never imagined just how much that hurt, to say you aren't good enough. I remember, in art class my teacher telling me "You will not amount to anything" She brought an artist who spent sometime with me over a lunch time to teach me Art like I would never imagine, nor ever got taught by my own art teacher. He told me to do my own thing and not listen to what others expect of me. "Do your own thing". He showed me something I never thought I had in me. (Artistic Ability). He showed me something I wasn't taught and because I had that mind sense that "I wasn't going to be good enough" I was giving up. He showed me how to do the art project and because I felt nothing about it, I told him to take it with him, I signed it, put my address on it. (it was a cornstalks painting that was suppose to be done in pencil first then watercolor, I wanted to do it without the pencil and just straight in watercolor) I got a check in the mail the first year in college. It was the first time in a long time that someone believed in me. It was the best feeling for being the girl who "would not amount to anything". I have amount to alot of things because that 1 guy took some time out of his schedule to teach me. All he was, was a visitor. Because of him, I have told others "Do your own thing and never let anyone tell you that you cannot, prove them wrong, I did." :)

I’m sorry you went through that. Our world has a tendency of bringing people into our lives that break us down to the point where we give up any thoughts of being who we want to be until we be someone who simply fits in with the rest of society. But if we are patient and keep pursuing that version of ourselves and that life, we find those key people who will stand by our side and push us forward to our desired future. You will amount to more than you will ever imagine. Just keep going. You and I don’t know each other, we may never meet, but know that I believe in you. You can do it. Keep at it. Good luck Marianna. May you reach the future you envisioned.

I love E.T.'s quote in this: "It's in your D.N.A., it's who you are". That's 100% true, your dream is in you, your body is there to bring it to life and the only thing stopping that is the consciousness, YOU, that's deciding to not work on that dream, to not write that story, to not get up at 6 AM every morning and get bigger and eat better. Just because it's in your imagination doesn't mean it's not real, what about cars? airplanes? Did we just dig them out of the ground? No, they started in someone's imagination and then it was built.

But that doesn't mean you can get away with not studying and failing classes. Sometimes you've gotta put up with some stuff you don't like in order to get to the place you wanna be. There is something in the world that you can be immensely successful and happy doing. And if you have to take a math class to get there, isn't that worth it?

Aye... I am a dreamchaser, but I see so many flaws in myself. I am not responsible, I am not organized, I am not disciplined, and I am lazy. I'm failing in school because I am too stressed or lazy to do any of the work. I stopped running and started walking towards my passion, because I am too tired. Looking at myself, there is no way I can reach my dream like this. When I look at myself, I see an embryo inside a seed. I know that I am in fertile ground... I have great educational oppritunities around me, and I have a luxury of knowing what I want to do once I am done with school (rare for a lot of teens in my age). But I am unable to grow, because I am a flawed seed. I feel that if I do not plant my roots soon, I will end up being washed away by the coming rain. Which is why I must change myself. I understand for a fact that my dream will not morph itself so I can fit in it. I need to change my shape... change myself, in order to fit in to my dream. I need to change who I am... dig deep down into my roots... and change things. It has been a difficult road. I barely have any guidance when it comes to changing who I am. I have no coach telling me what I should do in order to change myself. My support system cannot help me. Other than using the internet, I am shooting in the dark, trying to see how I can become more responsible and disciplined. I have tried a few tactics already, but those have failed. But as my body grows weak, and my mind grows tired, I am reminded of who I can be with the simple power of music. When I listen to certain songs, I am pretty much "transported" to the future... a future where I have long grown out of the dirt... a future where I blossom flowers, having their sweet smell fill the air. A future where I can bask in the sunlight, and have my leaves to cast a shadow to nurture those that come to me, and to sprout ripe fruits to nourish those who are hungry. The power of imagination is an amazing thing. I look at that future almost everyday... as it pleases me. But then I remember my current condition, on how I hadn't even planted roots yet. I come to a realization that if I get washed away, I will not be the only one that suffers. Those that come into the land will find no tree... and will sweat under the sun... and will starve without any fruit. I feel that it is my destiny, to overcome my obstacles and reach my goals. So I may grow to be a life-giving tree, a beacon of hope, an example of success. These motivaional speakers... ET, Les Brown, and etc... I look to these people as one of these trees/beacons. These people will not stay here for eternity... but they have helped plant many seeds. It is up to me... and up to us... to grow, so we ourselves will become a beacon. The next generation of them. Which is one of the reasons why I keep fighting. Why I hope that I will be cleansed from my flaws, so that I can grow. I am still here, and my heart still beats. Rain is coming soon, and it may come with thunder and lightning. For the sake of myself, and for the sake for those whom may come to me, I continue on.

I COMPLETELY understand your story! I can also relate/connect to most of them too. As a young adult in school, I also give up and it progresses into failure. Most of the time, if I have a test or a quiz, I'll start to get a panic attack and can't get myself out of it. Then there's my personal life, I want to just go out and catch my dream(like you would do with a fish), but you see I can't. Because I have these little things holding me back. Like the wind. I call it "fear". It won't leave me alone. But as I struggle with other things, I have to deal with fear. Fear is a word, surrounded by small worries. If you never go out, if you never go beyond your comfort zone, it will always be there just waiting silently for you to break down. The best advise I can give you is, "BELIEVE". Believe that you can see it, believe that you can do it, believe that it's possible, because everything's possible. Even the word "impossible" says "I'M POSSIBLE". I hope this helps and hope you know your not all alone. There are people just like you and me who haven't seen what their worth.

I was once a top student who achieved high grades, got runner up Dux and won state competitions but a couple of years ago my journey hit a big roadblock and I fell down hard... I was hurt soo bad.. I lost motivation.. My friends around me mocked me, my lover betrayed me. Two of my colleagues and myself applied into medical school and they got in but I got rejected. They told me that I missed my chance by a few applicants and I felt soo sad. I was happy for my colleagues but I wanted to get in it had been my dream since I was 6 years old. My grades had dropped so low, I don't have any friends and I felt lost. Last week I contemplated suicide.. But I realised that even though I have fallen down hard, I will bounce up just as hard. This video helped me a lot thanks :) I believe the spirit and energy for me to be great is still inside me, I just have to unlock it. Guys no matter what the circumstances it is better to keep striving and going instead of doing nothing and feeling miserable.

I honestly think that Lindsey Stirling is the ultimate example of perseverance. She went through so much and had tons of hardships along the way, one of which was being publicly humiliated on AGT. That is why she is my role model and why she's my motivation.

zachary rintaro you can do it!!! I wrote this comment a long time ago and now I'm 16 and I want to attend Boston University and when I wrote that comment I wasn't doing great in school and I started applying myself last year and I have straight A's and have been recognized on the national level multiple times for my academic achievements. It's really funny how things always end up working out, I never dreamed I could be doing the things I am right now. If you give yourself your best you everyday, that is all you need to achieve great things. Even if you feel like you've failed, you can still be proud of yourself because you gave it everything you got. In 20 years from now you don't want to say you only gave life half of what you are capable of. Live now and try hard and you'll be amazed at how far you'll go. And never take anything for granted enjoy life, have fun. You can most definitely do anything you set your mind to, I did. It's never too late to start taking control of your life, you are responsible for your life, so take charge and when you do you'll feel so proud of yourself. You've got this!!!!

  • @emilysands5494

The fact that you are watching this video shows that you are capable of great things, because you want more, and you want better, that's where it all begins. I had a vision and it was so clear, and now I have made a new vision for myself, and I never see a failure as a bad thing, see it as a starting point for greater things. Once you've hit rock bottom, there's only one way, up, and I was so depressed before I commented this and I wanted more, and so I did it. Your comfort zone may be nice, but you'll never grow there, and I got out of my comfort zone and defied everything and everyone that said I couldn't do it. Prove them wrong, prove yourself wrong, let that be your motivation. See just how far you can go, then keep on pushing. I have faith in you, because I was you a few years ago, and I did it, you can too.

Stay in your room. Enjoy the freedom of having no bills and respect your mom. Just silently study and read. Nobody needs to know you dream, they'll just slow you down with negative thoughts or their pointless perception. KEEP READING. READ READ AND READ. Study and study and then read until you have a migraine and you keep reading to the point you forget about your migraine. One day you'll get a letter in the mail that says congratualations, you've been accepted. But this will only hapen if you read and study every single day. No friends, no family and no stranger will help you. If you don't study and you dont do it now you never will. You have to do it if you want to do it. There's no pretending, there's only hard real work and complete solitude on your journey. Good Luck . Im on year seven of my journey and one day you'll look back and say "Wow- oh my god I'm doing it and I'm almost there"

I’ve been watching this throughout middle school, highschool and now college. With dreams of becoming a healthcare worker in nursing , I just got into my dream nursing program last minute off the waitlist. After being waitlisted, I wrote a letter of reconsideration and cried. I paid so much money and studying to get in and did not. From working as a caregiver and fast food employee- I saved every dollar for my college career. I applied to another program which accepted me but I was not fully happy, wondering what it would be like if I was accepted into my dream school. Now, I am given a chance to dorm and attend their school off the waitlist with financials being cheaper then my backup school. Life is good and he listened to my dreams. I never thought I would get in after getting C’s in microbiology and chemistry, as I had troubles managing financials as I was able to pay off my first two years of college by my self. Anything is possible, thank you for giving me the hope I needed when others told me my dream school was out of reach, thank you for giving me the strength to keep pushing although it would challenge me. Thank you for making this video, you don’t know how much impact you have .

Now I can say all things work together for good. God saved me from a horrible situation. Now my life is better than ever and I am living out my vision, God's vision for my life. After 4 months of hitchhiking i reached my goal. I lived there for 2 years and then I came back to Poland. I'm going back and same story happens, everyone is telling me that's it is crazy, but I've already checked it. Anyways, don't listen to people, do what you feel is right. I came across this video 8 years ago. I remember watching this video, Dream Video, Why do We Fall Video, every day trying to draw motivation to work hard. But I didn't have a vision, and motivation could only last that long without a vision. I couldn't imagine who I wanted to be, I couldn't see it. Somewhere along the line when life hit me, I forgot about dreams, visions, becoming who I wanted to be, I got so caught up with life problems, depression, so focused on the present, the past, and started to settle. 8 years have passed, things have been better, I've progressed a little, half-assed, but I'm still where I was 8 years ago, unhappy, unfulfilled. Even coming back to this video for the first time in 8 years, I can still remember almost everything in this video, how I felt back then, the words said in this video. Now I have a clear vision of who I want to be, I see it in my imagination. I'm writing this today as a second chance. The next time I comment on this, I will be where I am in my imagination. There's no plan B. I know the poison of regret, the thought of having that X100 in my deathbed scares the living SHIT outta me. I HAVE TO DO THIS, if not I might as well be dead. See you guys in a few years.

Well his obstacle was himself. After he almost bankrupted the company he'd inherited he had to actually do some stuff to get back. That said, a lot of financial experts say he could actually have more money today if he had've just invested his money in stocks or something instead of doing all his business ventures, so in a way he's been more of a detriment to his success than an enabler of it.

You WILL remain stagnant for the rest of your life. Only in the moment you realize sleep at 5am is an option, and that alarm, that wake up call is a necessity, only then will you start the journey to your dream. If you're only go after your dreams in dreams, you'll never achieve any dream you have.

You may dealing an environment where people badly judge you. Just remember pain is temporary ,but it wont be gone if we quit. We are all here because we believe all of us are beautiful. Keep going and one day we are going to be great , but the day is not today.

The good thing is, i already had this wisdom some 20 years ago that took where i am today making 6 figure salary here in the US, coming from a small town from Asia with no technology advancement in sight. What this video is saying is exactly what i had done while building up my dreams through intellectual route, as oppose to easy route like asylum or refugee status like the modern day expats dreamers. I've gone through a lot of thorns before i could see roses, but it was through thorn phases in which i could see the light shining through in the distance. Paid off my mortgage 6 years ago, paid off my car in 2 years of purchase. (i'm in my early 40's)All i do now is giving back to America through donating to six charitable organizations that i chose, 2 hospital charitites, 2 rescue missions, and 2 evangelical missions to Europe. I give them twice the amount on Christmas season. I travel a lot mostly to Europe, i travel twice a year.

4:46 Don't just go to the end of that class. While you are eating, read that book some more, when you want to go play some games, bust out a pencil and paper and do more problems instead, before class go read an extra chapter. You have to want it so much that you believe that the effort is worth it. Where I am working, failure is not an option. If I fail, if my team fails, people die. I have to work under intense pressure and with insane effort, because what I do matters to the future of mankind. And because what I do matters, I can find myself going beyond limits that I imposed upon myself. I still haven't reached the limit.

You know, what youtube and Mateusz is creating is amazing. Look at this thread, it's full of people who have found motivation and who REALIZE that it's not over until you are dead, and your goals can truly be achieved. It's helped all of us realize that anything is possible, and that nobody has to be a slave to the corporate world. So many people are unhappy at their job, while at the same time, they just think about doing the one thing they are passionate about while they are in that miserable state. This kind of stuff enables us to realize that you don't have to remain in that same, constant, miserable state. It's possible, for you to be happy doing what you're passionate about. I'm not saying that people shouldn't take up corporate jobs, because there ARE people who love their corporate job. However, those that sit at work all day thinking about that the next notes for the musical piece they are creating, or doing suicides to gain endurance for their sport, or the next brush stroke on the painting they are creating, an office is no place for that person.

Even when I can't play it, I know each word of this speech by verbatim and I say them to myself when I need to. Because of this video, I achieved 7A*s at GCSE, 2 A*s at A Level and I now study law at the 4th highest ranking university in the UK, with a graduate job offer from an international law firm. Thank you, Mateusz M, for creating this video.

When I tell you I used to listen to the first part of this video every single day and it motivated me to keep getting up and trying harder. The days I didn’t want to go to class, I went anyway, even if I was failing or behind. I showed up. I grew up in a home of drugs and alcohol. In a home with CPS and police in and out. I was physically, mentally and sexually abused and my self-esteem was in the toilet for the longest time. Plus, growing up biracial in all white communities, and not meeting my Black side of the family til I was 18, made things worse growing up. I also jumped into a marriage at 18 and had my Son at 19, but found myself in Domestic Violence, just like my Mom. I had no positive role models in my life at the time, so i watched this every single day. I’m not saying it was all because of this video, but it helped me get on the right track for my life. I focused on my mental health through therapy. I studied Social Work and graduated so I could help those who were going through what I went through as a child. I became a Domestic Violence advocate. I got my Master’s degree. I started surrounding myself with positive and successful people. I took my Son and continue to take him traveling across the world. And I’m an activist and fight against racial injustice! This video was the first sense of positivity and motivation I heard in my life. Thank you to the person who made this video!! You have blessed and motivated many! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Agreed, although I meant more that the world itself seems negative. The media presents a bad world with a bad future, society comes across as pessimistic and "realistic" in general and by realistic I mean settling for a normal life and arguing that going further cannot work but that is IMO often a justification of people's fear to go further, but it's more a systemic thing so I can't really leave the negative environment as such, but I can think positive and make my own a world a better place and the same applies to you and anyone else in the world. #positvity

My mom got really sick when I was 13, I was abused by the people that I was left to be raised by, when I turned 22 she died. I watch this from time to time when I can't breath and it helps me see the future... What life can be if I just embrace life and what has been given to me to learn. What I can show people who have had it worse or just like me, and I thank you for making this because I've been watching it for about 3 years now and I thank you because most days none of it makes sense, and it helps me remember there is a reason for it all...

I grinded and pushed through the failures and the obstacles. Now I’m closer then ever. I know in my heart I can do anything I can envision. Guys believe it and you can achieve it!
