I'm from India. My mom passed away a month ago and we sang this in our local Language (Marathi) as kids, this is a Methodist hymn and I'm so proud we are all United in the blood of Christ. My mom was taken away by her Christ so peacefully, that none of us knew when it all happened , he waited for her to get well and enjoy her best times and took her with him from all sorrows that she once had. Thank you Jesus. My mom was a blessing for me all a gift from you, My Lord ! She is happy with you now ! What a blessed passing away from the mortal world to the eternal life. Amen ! I remember we would go to the church and sing it , I still hum it, it gave me goosebumps ! Love you mom, your master took you without any pain or sorrow ,as you always said "He shall never forbade me for I am his daughter!"
