Wow, that's cool! Love that! Give Venice my love - it's one of the most incredible places I've ever been.

I just finished listening to this on the iTunes podcast and OMG my mind is blown! I love that the impact he wants to make is to take on the education system that's full of "brules" (bullshit rules) and teach unity and human transformation! WOW! He says to, "Question Everything!" I completely agree! We do so many stupid things that don't work because it is a society norm. Also, I loved how he explained, "Forget the means goals, and go straight to the end goals." Then create a chart to answer these questions: 1. What EXPERIENCES do I want to have in my life? 2. How do I have to GROW to get these experiences? 3. How can I GIVE BACK to the world? He dropped so many nuggets of gold! Like when he explains that kids are "meaning making machines" and how a lot of people today are f'd-up because of meanings they made as a child. Or the "expectation experiment" where he find out that people do good, when you EXPECT them to do good. I really got a lot of value out of this interview Tom! Downloading the Mind Valley Academy app as I speak. Thank you both!!

Success depends on how well we relate to everything around us. Joy comes from that bliss of connectedness. I believe that unarmed truth and love will have the final word in reality. To love; you should have good heart. I am a good person until I see a person better than my standard of goodness. Being good is the progress towards a worthy cause. Love is God. Whoever lives in love, lives forever. How selfish it is to try to keep something forever? Love is all about nourishing, nurturing, sharing and expanding the love within you for all. The principle to which we adhere to is that we have kindness of love at heart for the whole of mankind. As long as there is the unnecessary differences within us; we can not live peacefully so we have to eliminate all the unnecessary differences among us so we can love all. No reason is the reason to love the person because true love never fails. So do not compare or measure the true love as first or the last but love all truly. If you love people truly then you can understand people. If you don't love then you don't understand people at all. People are controlled by system why? The Cyclical Consumption is the current economy all over the World. It is making the scarcity problems of the earth finite resources to deteriorate day by day. Current Monetary System is legalised theft. Real money is Gold and Silver. Scarcity gives the money more value. Real money won't lose it's value. When Governments stay away from Gold & Silver then very easy to transfer the wealth / resources to upper class the Rich (Corporatocracy) Elite. When the Governments are printing out more new fiat currency with reserve banks, our old currency is losing its purchasing power everyday. They are printing millions of currency everyday. All governments and laws are existing right now to transfer wealth to upper class the rich elite. The USA Government & other Governments are in many countries, bailed the investment banks & financial institutions in 2008 against the majority of the people. There is no democracy in any countries. Because of the Money System based on profits motive only above all else even humans lives and well-being. So, we do not have freedom to protect our values with the money so on. The violence, bankruptcy & all the negativities are build into the Monetary System of our society. All are owned (including ourselves) by Reserve Bank. Which is private cartel the corporation. So, in legal system, we are legally considered as chattel the properties. They make money in the capital markets with our birth certificates. They do not consider us as Humans. That's the truth. We are at the invisible war with the Elites (Corporatocracies). We have to fight for our Freedom. Resource Based Economy is the Solution. We have to declare the earth resources as the heritage of all the people of this world. So everyone has access to it. Please have your research about zeitgeist movement then you know the truth more. Truth About Health/Drugs Industry Because Of It Your Life At High Risk The drug industry is a 1/2 trillion dollars a year worldwide conglomerate. Almost 300 billions dollars just in North America. That is really big business. What would happen if everyone were well? There is no money in health. You see, good health makes a lot of sense but it doesn't make a lot of dollars. Because everything they do is toxic. Every drug they use, prescription drugs, all drugs are liver toxic, bar none. If you've had amalgam fillings put in your mouth by dentists. It is highly toxic. There's cancer because most of the chemos are themselves carcinogens. To view the tumor as the cancer and we know the tumor is not the cancer. The cancer industry is 200 billions dollars a year. The more work they get, the more profit there is. You have to dismantle; If the truth ever came out about what we would need to do. 30% of people of females in America are at risk of getting, will get cancer of the breast. The ones that are already dead have been grossly mistreated by the medical profession and by the government that supposedly is supposed to encourage free research and development of all possibilities. Why would medical doctors who studied medicine and practice medicine and are heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies why would they go and look into vitamins? That they never had the answer orthomolecular. And as more and more of our population start taking their health into their own hands, there's going to be even more and more of changes. It can't go on the way it is. The system is failing apart. We must make nutrition the primary prevention strategy for the population. You are what you eat. So I really admire Vishen and his whole mission with Mindvalley and have taken numerous courses which I have found extremely valuable and helpful (yay for Marissa Peer amd Christie Marie Sheldon!). However, I have one major caveat with a regular assertion of his, which is his repeated stance that eating beef is "ok". I get that he grew up Hindu and beef consumption is frowned upon by the religion. It's great that he had the presence of mind and critical thinking skills required to question a dogma which had been instilled in him since birth. I wholeheartedly agree with his assertion that religion is a "suboptimal" form of spirituality and needs to be done away with. However, he REALLY needs to realize that beef consumption (and any animal consumption, actually) is not only inherently cruel and morally wrong but flies directly in the face of his "humanity plus" mission. Vishen spends a lot of time talking about how climate change is real (it is) and how it's the biggest threat facing humanity (it really, absolutely is). However, he needs to realize (and this is backed by dozens of independent, empirically verifiable scientific studies) that animal agriculture (and in particular the raising of cattle for beef) is the SINGLE greatest contributor to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which is the principle force behind climate change. Animal agriculture accounts for more detriment to the environment than ALL forms of transportation combined. Everyone in the world can drive a Tesla and it still won't solve the problem of climate change because it doesn't do away with the primary cause of the problem in the first place: raising animals for food. I really hope Vishen understands this at some point - or is at least open to the idea of questioning the idea he has that animals are lesser and can be slaughtered for our consumption and appetites. "Humanity Plus" is only possible when we realize that this planet is not ours alone, but also belongs in equal right and equal measure to the millions of other species who also call Earth home. Humanity alone does not deserve to survive; all forms of sentient life do. He should also understand that beef/animal consumption is now widely accepted as a major carcinogen by the World Health Organization and is the leading cause of obesity and the world's top killer: heart disease. Abstaining from animal products is scientifically proven to reverse heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and even cancer in some cases. But don't take my word for it: do your own research. It's pretty undeniable (as undeniable as the reality of climate change, in fact). As Dr. Kim Allan Williams, President of the American College of Cardiology recently said: "There are two types of cardiologists: vegans, and those who haven't read the research." Anyway, hopefully he can pivot to a more compassionate and fully inclusive view of Life on earth and incorporate that into the Mindvalley mission. I'm sure he will with time.

well as an architect i could say the same about and criticize the hazardous materials and non-reneweable energy used in Impact Theory's studio... but hey, these guys have already performed much better when it comes to inspire, awake and lead their audience (us), so I won't mention it. If I want to learn and understand about renewable energies, then ill search the internet for renewable energies. If I want to learn about healthy nutrition, then ill search for that instead.. I mean if we start investigating every single aspect of the people for being morally correct or not, then this conversation won't take an end (maybe even youtube as a platform is not correct?^^) I believe that these people are on the right way, they have confirmed many of my assumptions and helped me win back the faith in myself, and that for free! Just think of where were we two decades ago.. I am happy to see that personal growth/motivational videos are not about money anymore, but something much more deeper and archetypal within ourselves.. But yes, I also have that vision, that one day all disciplines team up to create that eternal state of Eden on earth. A place where we have stopped to harm other species, the waters that surround us and the air that we breath in and where we have realized that nature and human are of the same substance! Or as an architect might say: an Gesamtkunstwerk

Vishen, I also appreciate you giving those, who are parents out there, some lessons on how to show their children that they, and their time, is a valuable commodity. You are absolutely right when you explain that children harshly reprimanded, for dropping spoons and forks, over and over, will grow up feeling less valued by anyone, including their parent(s). I am one them. Emotional child abuse hurts forever.

absolutely love vishen- mind valley introduced me to mindfulness and empathy which i now practice on a daily basis so you could say he helped change my life from the mindset i was conditioned into- still have to get the book. Thanks tom bilyeu for this interview

Excellent. I listen to Vishen's 6 phase meditation almost every morning. His talk blew my mind, he is so on target. I think I'm going to invest more into Vishen''s Mindvalley Academy.

Vishen is awesome! I love your ideas of questioning the religions and the BRULES which keep poisoning our consciousness. I have been doing it since my early childhood. Yes, we are also ONE humanity. There's only one race -- human.

This school sounds really intriguing. Definitely feel like learning shouldn't stop. There are so many things to be discovered, also wish after graduating college the education was sufficient enough to achieve certain life goals but it didn't seem to do so.

The distinction between humanity-enhacing companies and humanity-depleting companies is a useful one. "Brules" is a nice modern twist on Buddhism's samsara - ironic considering his anti-religion stance. Starting a company with $700 and a beat-up laptop looks a little different when seen in the light of a family paid British education and a $100k US degree - it's easier to achieve higher levels on the hierarchy of needs when someone else is taking care of the lower levels. This one was a little light on details and background and a little heavy on the philosophising - I would have liked to hear more about his childhood and any challenges he may have actually overcome.

Wow this was a great interview. Vishen seems so wise and insightful - such a great guy.

Vishen Lakhiani is aweasome, mind blowing person. I have nearly same dream/vision like him. A special thanks for Tom Bilyeu to create a channel like this and making people visualize that human potential is really limitless.

So far this is my favorite talk on Impact Theory! Absolutely incredible ideas and insights from Vishen Lakhiani. I will surely examine my own goals by applying his proposed methodologies.
