Following a career in marketing and public relations, JoAnne is now actively creating a broad gamut of contemporary art, including collage/découpage, abstract painting and mixed media on acrylic. The scope of her imagination and inspiration are fueled by the beauty and the energy that surround her.
Her paintings are predicated on her love of vibrant colours, asymmetry, fluidity, harmony and a great deal of exhilaration. She also paints portraits of whimsical imaginary personages which make up the Visages collection.
JoAnne held several socially-distanced outdoor art exhibitions during the pandemic and recently hosted her first solo show at the Stiver Mill Cultural Centre. She is also a member artist of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Studio Tour.
