something about GPAs! Some houses, like alpha omicron pi, have actually suspended the GPA requirement during recruitment this year in order to provide equal opportunity to those who may have struggled in high school but are still incredible women. now there still is a requirement to hit to be in good standing once you are in the house that varies from chapter to chapter BUT it won't define you when entering! so if you are worried about your GPA try and look for chapters that may have done the same!

Great video :) I know it's easier said than done, but PNMs try to stay positive about the situation! The process isn't what really matters, what's important is that you will be joining an amazing sisterhood and making life long friends and memories! It will get better from here :)

This video is super helpful! I’m a junior this year in highschool , but being in a sorority when I go to school is so beyond important to me. You mentioned maybe not being able to cover costs? My mom lives on disability so we’ve always been lower income, but she is determined that if I get into a sorority we will be able to make it. (She was in one and really wants me to get that experience) That being said is there any Financial aid available ?

What if a house doesn’t DM me or send me any mail? Should I be worried or should I reach out to them?? Love the video by the way :)

My friend who's in a sorority at a school similar to mine said that most sororities are dirty rushing this year and probably already know 75% of the girls they're going to recruit. I'm really worried because I have no connections at my school!!! She also said that some of the leadership in her sorority are going to tell girls keywords to say in videos and Zooms to know who to pick for the next rounds. Have you heard about this? It's really upsetting because I don't want my chances to be ruined at a sorority I like just because of online rush and dirty rushing!

Your college's panhellenic website should have a financial disclosure document somewhere on the site. That will list all the different chapter's dues. Dues are important to know about and ask about during recruitment!

at usf the videos need to be uploaded and need get be 3-5 mins long......... what

My school does deferred recruitment in the spring and I HATE the idea that PNMs are going to be judged based on videos and social media rather than values (which is what recruitment should be about). It puts many at a disadvantage- if someone doesn’t have a webcam, poor internet access at home, an uncomfortable living situation/nowhere private to participate in rounds, etc. Virtual recruitment seems to be perpetuating many of the problems Greek life has been called out on in light of many racial injustices being prominent in the media the past month or two. I gag every time I see a tiktok recommending PNMs to create an “aesthetic room” or linking ring lights as a way to advantage the process. I hope Panhellenics across the country are going in and being ultra sensitive to the disparities online recruitment is going to present

i don’t think they’ll “judge” you on. not everyone has/posts regularly on social media. i would just make sure to fill out your recruitment registration form with a lot of detail so they can get to know you really well :)
