this is extremely important I think.... i thank you.... someone needs this but possibly not even the creator even knew while making fully.... I'm telling you....i think the layers of reality are.... possibly......endless.....and it's something i never understood a year ago listening to this album every day....but I'm here again and i feel like I have finally leveled up....it is such a leap that it makes me think this is the first true one I've ever had..... others might have been like sublevels/fractions/etc....i kno personally it is also important for me to hear this again and i hope i am not too late because another layer was shed like i said and it adds to the multiple other personal interpretations of this simultaneously for me....thank you.....and thank you for all who inspired and assisted this artist to share this all with us....I'm trying to find my way and since we are autonomous processes i guess i think I am supposed to be here and it us frightening but so beyond beautiful and piercing through to my core i physically feel..... whether it is literally the power of the crafted waves or what they invoke from within my brain through my senses of perception i posess....or both.... whatever it is.... it's really intense and i am drawn like electromagnetically or sum shiiiiiit....so..... kudos lol....for real.... I felt a literal out of the world feeling with just the beginning of the 1st minute of the song... The visuals and the music, ohh man!!! I can smell a brand new earth!!! A planet for the creators!!!

Amazing and light hearted with a bouncy feel to it.

Porter Robinson is so incredibly talented. This music is the inspiration for everything I do in my life, and I can't imagine where I would be without it. Virtual Self has gone even further, and brought that sense of nostalgia we all feel to mainstream EDM, something we haven't seen done before. With each new video, I fall deeper into the vortex that he has created to take us to a different place, and a different time. Thank you for the feels, Porter. You have changed my life. Please never stop changing it.

I don't know how to describe it but the authentic of this music video and Virtual Self reminds me of some grungy EDM music video from like the very early 2000s.

Man, I *really* love Virtual Self and I hope you keep going with it for a while. This stuff really resonates with me. Also Key is my fave techic-Angel track~

This is one of my favorite songs of yours. Has helped me achieve a few cathartic cries, and I have been struggling to show my emotions lately, so I needed that. I interpreted the imagery this way, myself, 0:00 - 2:16: This melody and presentation is representing the birth, and life, and successive realizations (keys), and then death of a parent. 2:17: This is their child, who is now faced with the unimaginable experience of parsing the full personhood and life of the parent they just lost, a task they are unequipped to do. At first it is beautiful, fascinating, to learn so much, but then the pain suddenly hits them and they have to ride it out and get to the other side. Trauma has a way of sneaking up on you. What do I know though, it might just as well be a story of the journey of your music career, or going on the internet and becoming traumatically internet woke and having your old self die, for all I know xD Keep making beautiful music ^-^

Yes, this song resonated with me deeply as well. Had a long and good cry. To me, the song represents a long and diffucult journey home, and somehow not losing your sense of self in the process.

Even tho this was made in 2018, it emits the feeling of the Japanese electro/trance song back in the mid 2000's when there's all sorts of this music everywhere. To the people's who say that the Virtual Self project is emotionless, you just haven't experiences the Japanese music and mid 2000's hardcore/techno track. Even tho I'm only 6-7 in the mid 2000's, I've received enough exposure to those songs that I have a decent understanding of it, and this is just straight up those kinds of music. Love it
