Instant gratification is a touch away. Your utopia is in your phone. Your perfect self image can be whatever you want it to be. May Allah protect us all from this distorted reality. Ameen.

I think the special phrase "the liar will be regarded as truthful" makes only sense, if we know the liar is indeed lying. And subhanallah, take for example Trump. It is the first time, that I heard of "alternative facts", the first time I see someone clearly lying and still people belive him! And this is exactly what our beloved prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم is referring to.

The shallow reality is happening...right now, isn't it...although it's not on large scale, but it happens worldwide, everwhere, in any country. At every mentioned on a sign, i already recalled some incidents... In my own country... May Allah protect us from the fitna and from becoming the one spreading the fitna... Ameennnnn 😢🤲

I would think it is large scale. Perhaps that we don’t sense it as much as we strive to insulate ourselves by practicing Islam. But it’s rife.

I am a VR user, and I understand your point too. I believe in the good aspects of it as well.. But, since FB announced all of this Metaverse thing, I couldn't help myself but think deeply about the long term and far reaching consequences of "their" adoption and goals of VR applications, and I started thinking that probably, Meta's "VR" applications would surely be a precursor to the Dajjal's paradise and hell deception. May Allah guide us and protect us all. Ameen.

يا فضيلة شىخ I have heard other scholars say the same thing: memorizing 10 ayahs from Suratul Kahf will protect you from the dajjal, yet I see some people read it on Fridays. As well, I heard one scholar say, reading it on Fridays is not part of the sunnah, but rather, one should memorize the said verses. Which is which? What is your take on this? Jazaka'llahu khayr

I have less knowledge , but even if its not a sunnah reciting quran is Not going to do any bad, we can recite surath al kahf and also memorise it, insha allah

That Sheikh said that Isa (A) will return and rule his own Israelite ummah instead of joining the ummah of Muhammad (S) while ruling over it [while retaining his status as the Prophet Messiah], when the Prophet (S) said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if Musa were alive, he would have no option but to follow me." (Ahmad 14736); then he took an oath by Allah that any scholar disagreeing with this view of his will have to justify his case before Allah on Judgment Day, while the hadith in Ahmad 14736 is sufficient evidence against his view. He holds some interesting views but needs to be more humble.

When Sheikh said think about ur weaknesses on which dajjal preys upon i think boils down to all sorts of modern cultural things like being attractive seeking validation in haram ways , jealousy , competition , wealth , status this stuff are the key components of dajjals fake jannah
