I conceived this project as a way to learn music and stay busy during social distancing measures. The result is more than I could have hoped for. It is imperfect, but honest and genuine. I am so lucky to have many talented friends, and the Canadian opera scene is full of amazing, generous artists who jumped at the chance to collaborate. We all filmed ourselves with limited equipment and space, so please excuse the non-studio quality sound. A big thank you to everyone who participated, gave advice, and supported this project.
Opera is a live art form and digital content will never replace the experience of live music, but I hope you've enjoyed this and will continue to support opera in this time of need. Arts organizations are particularly vulnerable and rely on the generocity of donors and sponsors at all times. Hopefully we can all get back into the theatres soon.

What fun, to see the actors' expressions so clearly on screen, to see them throwing themselves into their roles and forgetting that they at home like the rest of us in Covid isolation. A wonderful, lively performance!!

Just discovered this gem, and all I can say is what pure joy this brought me. I know every note of this piece, but this was like watching it all new again. I could not stop smiling throughout. And joy is what sharing music is all about. Thank you to all who put this together for a great job and for sharing your talents. LOVED IT! (Mozart meets The Brady Bunch.)

Everyone recorded on their own equipment and I used Lightworks to edit it all together.
