Good tip. I got steam going much to early. I think in some other engine sims it takes so much longer to get going.

Thanks for running something out of the ordinary, gave a good excuse to tool around with something new! Don't know if you're aware of this but i discovered after some trial and error that you can prevent the hot well overtemp from occurring if you first switch on the ME SW/FW pumps in the cooling page. I believe the hot well wasn't being cooled because those pumps were offline and the steam exiting the boiler wasn't being properly cooled after passing through the SW cooler before being returned to the hot well.

Yeah there's a condenser that cools the steam with sea water, that's why you need the SW pumps.

Sometimes it's good to branch out a little bit. I have some flying tutorials but x-plane 11 eats compatibility with older planes.
