Virtua Cop 3 (Arcade) - 438,099,900 score
Sawadee clup, which means greeting in Thai. The first thing is I'm not sure about difficult setting of this machine ... probable 'Easy' ... maybe 'Normal', because Sometimes in 'Normal', a player could fill the E.S. bar by perform 'Justice Shot' same as 'Easy' one.
I would like to welcome you to my Virtua Cop playthough. The most frequent question on this video that many people often asked is why I always put my foot on the pedal a lot. The reason is whenever I shoot down bad guy bullets, I'll earn some score:
100 X Count of shoot down (max at 255)
.. per a single shot. This means the first bullet shoot down give me 100X1=100, and the 255th (maximum) bullet shoot down will give me 100X255=25,500 score/bullet. With the 'why I always put my foot on the pedal a lot', you can reach 500,000,000+ points and that's how I reached 504,077,200 as in the picture in the link below:

I bought this arcade machine to play at my house, in Bangkok, about 4 years ago. When my mom called me for dinner, with my starving, I shot a wrong letter (should be HIT not HIS). Now the ranking and the setting were wiped out due to CMOS battery depletion. This taught a lesson that I shouldn't buy an almost ten year-old second-hand public arcade machine.
As we know, the most popular high score trick for Virtua Cop 3 is do a 3-point shot until you reach Lv.16 (score multiple by 16), and after you're Lv.16, do a justice shot (disarming shot) as much as possible. The highest score for a single justice shot is 7,500X16=120,000. If you wonder why this machine has a 9-digit score (999,999,999) that different from some Virtua Cop 3 machine which have only 8-digit score (99,999,999), there are two version of Virtua Cop 3, no-update and updated. My machine is an updated one. For the 8-digit score machine, the highest score will be 99,999,999.

I remember playing this in year 2000-2002 I am not so sure. But I went to the internet and checked how to get high scores, which is to shoot bullets, and when the red lock it will have more bullets directed at you. I love this game at the arcade at that time. Thanks for bring memories

viperRX Thank for the comment. In the Internet, you will find only the high score tips for version A. The maximum is 99,999,999. Later, SEGA AM2+ released version B and maximum point is 999,999,999.

About the machine gunners, it is possible to press the pedal the moment they start firing, shoot down the bullets, release the pedal, wait for a second, press the pedal and shoot down the bullets and machine gunners using justice shot (shooting the hands) while in e.s. more. You can get scores closer to 500 million with that strategy.

Devilstar24 The keys are keep practice and don't be shy to shoot everything that move. Failure is an only option for success. (However, I don't have my success yet, hahaha....)

Speaking of the multiplier effect from shooting the enemy bullets while pressing the pedal, I heard that it is one of the best methods to score the 999,999,999 points.

ace5566 It is impossible to reach 999,999,999 points, but I think you mean 99,999,999 points. As I wrote the video description, there are two versions of Virtua Cop 3, 8-digit and 9-digit score counter, and in this video is the 9-digit one. According to Hyprophant (30/9/2003), a player could get the maximum score, which is 99,999,999, in the middle of the normal mission by keep shooting enemy bullets. There are not enough gangsters and their bullets to get 999,999,999 points (but 500,000,000 is possible). Do you reload by pointing offscreen or covering the sensor with your other hand? Which is better? How do I avoid my hands getting tired by the time I reach the third level with the crab boss?

TheTber123, I like to point offscreen because I need two hands to concentrate accuracy. It's quite hard to say which one's suit you, but I prefer to point offscreen. When facing the robocrab, try not to stumb the paddle too much. The slowmo makes it hard to shoot the carb rear guns. Penetration bullets will help a lot.

Dude you are amazing. I did not know we can get the score this high. I did not expect the last boss is the reptile monster with a gun. Why don't we call the monster hunter ;P. Anyway. Have you play time crisis 3, 4 or 5? I love those game (I haven't try 5 one yet but I like the graphic. Damn twist in the middle of the game). What is your highest score?

+AKPembroke The final boss looks like Diablo with M134 to me. ( ='w'= ) Hahaha, dude, don't ask me about TC or Razingstrom 'cause I suck. I only remember my TC4 and Tc5 scores, they're 5.8M (blue side) for TC4 and 1.957M (blue side) for TC5 3-stage V. I think I'm good at CrisisZone dual guns mode.

i loved this game so much it used to b at the bowling alley i go to i was disappointed when it had gone i think gale was 1 persistent boss and since joe fang dies in this 1 i doubt there will b a virtua cop 4 but if there is a virtua cop 4 now that joe fang is dead it might b his son or his brother as the final boss

There no news about Virtua Cop 4, no event a rumor. It seems to be the developer, SEGA AM2+, too lazy to develop make sequel of VC. The latest game of SEGA AM2+ is Operation G.H.O.S.T., but they hire Skonec, Korean game developers, to develop the game.

+Reimu Hakurei คือเริ่มจากการปัดกระสุนไปเรื่อย ๆ ตัวละ 2-3 นัด พอหลอด E.S. ใกล้หมดก็ยิง Justice Shot บ้างเพื่อเติม E.S. ถ้า Lv. ยังไม่ถึง 16 ก็ต้องยิงขาไปเรื่อย พอ 16 แล้วก็ Justice Shot อย่างเดียว แล้วจะถึง 500 ล้าน

This game is hard since enemies appear right moment as civilian appears. I always gets miss shot sometimes, since civilians appear so quickly.
