1st verse: Maat metsät hiljenneinä ja meret tyyntyneinä kiittävät Jumalaa. On laannut voima tuulten. Vaikene, puhe huulten, vain sydän puhua nyt saa. / Lands, forests are silent and seas are calmed praising God. Powers of wind are subsided, leaving only heart to speak.
2nd verse: Sinua, Jumalani, nyt kiitän iloissani, kun tunnen voimasi. On kaikki hallussasi, soi taivas kiitostasi ja koko luomakuntasi. / My God, I'm praising thee with joy when I’m feeling your strength. Everything are in your hands, oh Lord, Heaven is praising thee and the whole creation.
3rd verse: Nyt ihmettelen tässä, näin Herra elämässä lastasi talutat: suot armolahjojasi ja hoidat sanallasi ja joka päivä armahdat. / Now I’m wondering, the Lord, how you are guiding the children of yours in life; you are giving charisma and treating by the Word, and mercying every day.
4th verse: Aamusta aamuun herään ja ilta illan perään käyn rauhaas nukkumaan. Voin päivän päivään liittää, ja hyvyyttäsi riittää, et, Herra, väsy auttamaan. / Each morning I'm waking up and each evening I'm sleeping with your peace, oh Lord. Each day you are blessing, and doesn’t get tired to help.
5th verse: Vaan tunnen murheissani: taas, Herra, matkallani pois kuljin tieltäsi. On turva lapsellasi vain laupeudessasi. Näin suljet minut helmaasi. / But once more I’m feeling with sorrow, oh Lord, I was moving aside on the path of yours in my life. Clemency of yours is shelter of your child, oh God. That’s how you are closing me to your embrace.
