Hey I thought your comment was pretty cool and if it was any other country that this man was coming from I wouldn't make this comment. I wouldn't reply to your comment. This is a man who's got his position through who he knows and what he's done within the Islamic movement in iran. He doesn't go home hungry and just kids don't want food whereas his tire population is basically starving to death. The medical of their medical services are almost non-existent I haven't even listened to this video completely but I'm sure he's going to make it seem like they're cutting edge on everything yeah. The only thing they're cutting edge is on children's missiles and trying to make a nuke and trying to make a intercontinental ballistic missile so if they have if they want to they can threaten the United States and of course they are sole purpose their other sole purposes to extinguish the state of israel. They don't need to stay they said they spend obscene amount of money on missiles drones supporting Hezbollah and Hamas and Islamic Shahid yet that people want for food that people want for basic services. Just don't let this fool you. People are saying you know oh this is so wonderful cutting through cultural ties. No it's this in this case it's not wonderful it's propaganda it's a way to make Iran seem like a normal country and it's far from it. Let me tell you one thing I can guarantee you that if a doctor if the doctor Campbell was this would not be happening you can take that to the bank. Anyway happy New Year to you stay safe and that's it sorry if this was a little hard it wasn't based on at you in particular cuz I saw a lot of comments like this and I just felt idea to respond to one so I clicked on yours LOL again Happy New Year I love Dr Campbell I watch his show well I'm blind so I really don't watch it I listen to his show on a regular basis I get all my information that I believe that's a big word there that I believe from him and also from he had the what was the name of that the Dr Bean I can't remember the travene trivia medical that's a good video also that's a good channel also where you can get a information that's real and I know Dr John has a collaborated on video for him all right cecilia's, Bob the blind bedroom guitars

It's one thing to profit from healthcare. It's another thing to rob people with a 10000% profit margin when the buyer has no choice but to take the service/good to survive. USA is doing the latter. Also, "it's not real profit we'll spend most of it on research" is the biggest BS excuse ever. If research truly costed even as much as 10% of revenue, 100s of pharmacies that researched covid vaccines but couldn't have them approved would be bankrupt by now.

This may be true in America, but in Canada, Australia and UK universal health care is a source of pride. As amazing as UHC is, there are some imperfections. Here in Canada there is limited testing and elective surgery in many provinces has been suspended. What I find really interesting is that America has flirted with UHC during the pandemic (without naming it!) Free testing, vaccines and treatment for Covid have been available to all Americans, I believe. Is this true? And if so, what do people think of this?

Hello John. Thank you for another year of doing what you do so very well. Informing, educating and often entertaining as well ;) You've been my 'go to' source on the pandemic since I first tripped over your channel in November or December of 2019. In all of that time, despite the pace of daily reports, I've never seen you put a foot wrong. That is one heck of an achievement. Eclipsed only by the thousands of lives, you've no doubt saved by being one of the few, unquestionably independent voices of reason. I'm going to do all I can to ensure that you are recognised publicly, for your service. Thank you John and I hope that you and yours have a peaceful and prosperous 2022.

At the 45:40 mark you start to explore theoretical silliness. If something were as lethal as ebola, it would be much harder for it to spread. This is just logic and evolution. Also, if the species starts from another species it is highly unlikely to START out with the ability to move quickly and easily through humans. That comes with time, as we saw. The virus wants to spread better, not kill better. And yes, this was a mild pandemic. Thus why all this overreaction was so infuriating.

Wow! This episode of Dr. John was really spectacular. Your guest seemed to have a produced a major impact on your more common discussion track and had your start moving into the Unknown and uncharted areas of life. Whatever it was I really liked it an hope you continue to take these type of liberties with experts in their fields and push them into stretching their expertise into some very cool speculation the net effect being adventure and mystery. Obviously, your guest spurred you into driving down less conventional and rarely travelled roads, explore some of the darker sides of town, the ones swimming in mystery, intrigue, unknowns and danger. How cool is that. For a minute forgot I was watching a hardcore get the facts and stats correct show (about Mr SARs) to enjoying a chapter straight out of the latest bioscience thriller and watching it plot form and evolve in real time. Good Stuff. If you could bottle this formula and infect the young with this sense of excitement, exploration and adventure using this specialized knowledge or Immunology, virology, Microbiology, genetics it could be the energy that propels young people on the path to becoming the next set of Virologists, Microbiologists, geneticists and all the life science-ists. Keep it up. You have my vote for this new KZread episode format. Starting the program out with graphs and citations and statistics like a proper straight-laced Dr would sort of establishing a basis in facts, kind of a framework, then you invite your guest to take walk through Dr John’s Stargate and pop through a worm hole to a new world filled with unknows, boundless opportunity for adventure, sensing that any moment that anything can happen! The key of course that made this whole thing work was is being able to explore this new world vicariously through the eyes of gifted Researchers and Scientists and Medical practitioners. Because they have a distinct way of parsing through their surroundings to see ferret out new understandings that it might reveal.

The most vulnerable people in high risk category may be on the benefit side of vaccination cost-benefit ratio, while naturally acquired immunity and early treatment are the safest and most effective response to covid for the vast majority, if the response to the pandemic was health based rather than a business agenda the death count and severe illness would have been significantly LESS.... this is not a question of pro-vaccination versus anti-vaccination... this is about what the most life saving response is versus capitalism at its most dangerous and the resulting deaths... time to get our blinders off.

It has seemed very clear to me in the U.K. the truth of what I think you are saying. We have a prime minister who said everything possible was done to save lives when the death toll reached 400,000. As much as possible was not done to save lives; instead as much as possible was done to cause as minimal effect on this country's ecconomy due to the coronavirus as possible; two totally different things and this continues to be the case. Human life does not have the value attached to it that it once had. I say this as a 70 year old who is also a christian and christianity requires love to be shown to one's fellow man because his life is precious. We have long since moved on and away from that predominantly christian era which formed my personality, such that human life does not have the value it once had! It appears government advisors concerned with the handling of this pandemic have also been basing and giving their advice from a starting point in dealing with this pandemic, now endemic situation, also in giving priority to preserving the country's ecconomic interests rather than doing the most that could be done to save lives! We have even had members of our parliament rebuking our prime minister in parliament over the effect on businesses in their constituencies as a result of the social restrictions that were imposed! Human life is apparently now of much less value than it was when I was growing up. I see the differences as being due to the large scale replacement of christian values in this country by predominantly evolutionary ones, where the value of human life in evolutionary terms is much less than God created life, and so has very little value, and is therefore much more easily expendible! Brent Collins.
