Yup, I had been struggling hard with my MIL. She's in her senior years and she came to live with us last year. My husband and I bend over backwards to make sure she is taken care of and I love to be prepared so I always think ahead of what else she could need. The whole time I've been really frustrated with her and not feeling appreciated by her. And this weekend after a lot of self reflection and meditation I finally came to the realization that i'd been taking on extra burdens that weren't mine. I realized that I can just live my life and she's invited to be in it but I'm not responsible for her happiness. My responsibility ends at providing a clean, safe, warm home with all the basics, but it's up to her to do everything else that she can for herself. And I was able to let go of that unnecessary pressure and I feel 100 pounds lighter.

That was insightful and yes, Fail hard and fast until you learn the right path. It’s a challenge I never thought end up consuming my life that’s for sure. Today is the last day my child is 4 . She's incredible and the birth was easy . She was meant to be ours ... and or we were meant to be here for her .
