This show was my best friend during an extremely lonely lockdown. Virgin River and Sweet Magnolias brought warmth to my heart and these characters helped me to not have anxiety attacks, which was usual. Looking forward to watch it very soon!

I lost my husband in 2018. Lockdown really gave me anxiety. We were not allowed to go anywhere . tv was my only for friend then

I'll say it again. This is a fantastic show that doesn't try to be anything more than what it is. It's so easy to watch. It's simple. It's relaxing. It's positive. Most other shows on Netflix are trying so hard to be over the top that it's exhausting and it all feels the same. Virgin River truly is a breath of fresh air.

I agree with that. This is what I expect from entertainment. Relaxing, little or no screaming or violence, no swearing every other word. On top of that, it is available in several languages. I watched it in Japanese and German and am about to watch it in Italian. I would love to see it in a bunch more languages and it would be even better if the subtitles were all replaced by captions.

Get Jack and Mel together and let it be Jacks baby. Glad Hope is back. Missed her. She adds a lot to the show, her and Doc.

I really want the baby to be Marks for three reasons. 1) So Mel can have something physical of Mark, someone to share her memories of him with. She doesn't really talk about him with Jack for obvious reasons, not sure how much she tells her sister and Marks family is a no go. As we've seen in the last 3 season she's still very much grieving him and I think it would be good for her to have an outlet where she openly express everything about Mark to their child. 2) I want her in-laws to release just how much Mark would be disgusted by them, especially his mother. 3) From the get go I always wanted it to be Marks but what Jake said in the trailer about not knowing how he'd feel if it was Mark's, only solidified me wanting it to be Mark's baby. Mel was and is going to help out with the twins, twins he's having (I don't think there is/for that Charmaine dies during birth) with another woman. A woman that makes Mel's life miserable. But Mel has no I'll will to the babies or (i think) Charmaine being their mother.

Just yesterday I was thinking about virgin river since one year passed since July 2021 S3. I was also wondering if it was not in the agenda since no indication that a S4 is coming. Thanks, Netflix, for keeping this series alive.!

This series is so simple, yet so beautiful. The cast, the plot, the place just beautiful

It's just an amazing show, people just living their normal lives with absolute love for each other. The relationship between Jack and Mel is so heartwarming and soothing!! Just loved the show! Eagerly waiting for the 4th season!😀

Something nice to watch when most Netflix shows are dark, negative, violent or thrillers that are anxiety creators in this already stressful world.

This show has saved me when I was at my worst. This show has literally been the definition of comfort.

I'm glad they are finally addressing his clear alcoholism and the fact that he has a problem because man the last few seasons it's been clear as day yet it's never tackled

The best show netflix ever did. I just love the cast, love the story, love the landscape. I wish more time would be shooted in nature instead of stage. but otherwise 10/10

Love the show,,, only discovered it after Alexandra mentioned it on an interview about her episode in the final season of This Is Us. Because I was a “team Sophie/ Kevin “ fan, I immediately started Season 1 and got totally hooked. The show is beautifully produced and wonderfully acted. Can’t wait for the new season …. Hope there’s a season 5, too

Does anyone else think Charmain's twins aren't Jack's? So far, they seem to be combining storylines from the books for the show, and even sometimes changing which characters the storylines belong to, but then again they are also completely changing some things, so it could go either way when it comes to the twins. Like the fact that Jack has a wonderful relationship with his father in the books, but I guess they changed that here to add more drama, or Brady, who is very, very different in the books, almost a completely different character. P.S.: I kind of dislike Mark's family a little more every day... why can't they just leave Mel alone? Also, custody of the embryos? What a joke. Weren't Mel's eggs used to make them? Grandparent's can't randomly take children/embryos from their child's widow for absolutely no reason. Mel has a good job, she doesn't have a drinking problem, a drug problem, a gambling problem, has no legal issues as far as I know. Not that it matters if Mel is with Jack, she'll have his babies, and not Mark's, but its the principle of it all.

@@GoldSag1 Me too, I think she's doing this out of spite, but also because he'll probably end up doing a paternity test and then everyone will know she tried to trap Jack with babies that weren't his, and in a small town, there's really nowhere to hide from doing something like that. I can almost bet you that guy she's with is the real father, and its why she's letting him manipulate her.

I feel that there's been a big shift in the overall production of S3 and S4....including the storyline. S1 and 2 had a completely different feel - now they seem to have adopted this mad soap opera drama aspect. Really disappointed with the embryo storyline of S3....how ridiculous this storyline is?! As if Mel could just get a quick appointment and have that procedure done in 2-3 days without any hormone prep/injections. just ridiculous. Agree with you about how they're taking bits and pieces of other characters storyline from the books and incorporating it into the series. Keeps us guessing I guess. As long as Jack is not the Father of Charmaine's twins I'll be happy. The rest I can live with......

I started watching Virgin River during the pandemic. I was hooked after the 1st episode. I like the Mel and Jack romance, the GI vet comrades, and the close hometown or small town network. I am looking forward to seeing season 4 episode.

Oh, I truly adore Mel and Jack. Cross all my fingers. So many issues and emotions. Can' t wait. Love, love, love.

This trailer looks like there is a shift of the unique virgin river spirit this season. It seems like this season is gonna be a bit different than the ones before. Also, I hope Jack's not gonna be as whiney throughout the season like he appeared to be in the trailer.

Whiney is right. But they are doing drama for drama's sake, not because it adds to the story. Way overboard with all the serious plotlines, the series is getting soapier each season. Nevertheless, I'm a fan, and I'll be watching.

Every year we see a new season and it influences rest of the months until next season appears. Truly beautiful series.

This show is addictive. I signed up for Netflix because I want to see this couple.

From season 1 I thought that it looked like Jack might have a drinking problem, along with all the o flashbacks he was having. I really hope that season 4 will be a plus for him and that he and Mel will be happy. Season 3 was so depressing, so I’m looking for a breakthrough of happiness for Jack and Mel and the show can then focus on the woes of the other characters.

I disagree that season 3 was depressing. One of the things that I love about this show is that it is realistic. Everyone has problems and they’re trying to figure their shit out. Stop comparing this show to hallmark shows because it is clearly better!!!

Season three was depressing for me because of the funeral and seeing the awkwardness between Jack and Mel in an effort to get back together. Just made me sad and this is the season that had me in tears. This is my view on how it made me feel.

I absolutely looove the show. Such a heartwarming and comforting series. Previous day I was cleaning out my "home library" and I found first 3 books of Virgin River series... Never actually read them. Anyone who has read them: Are they worth the read? ☺️

I love the one liners in this series! Between Hope, Doc, Bert, Connie, Jo Ellen and Jack, I don't know who is the funniest. Oh what the heck they are all funny

I have watched an episode of Virgin River most days since season 3.Maybe I am strange (I am sure my husband thinks I am) I just love the show and cannot wait for the new series.

I finished this season last night, and as always not disappointed ❤ I absolutely LOVE how it's interesting without any over the top drama. It shows just healthy human relationships :)

I love this show! Watched season 4 the moment it hit at 12:01 AM. Anytime I'm stressed, I go back to season 1. I know you have a wide range of viewers...happen to be 81.

As a guy I normally cringe at these types of shows but man I like this show. The scenery is amazing. I live surrounded by woods near a huge city. I love my privacy. What I like about the show is its family friendly. Don't have to fast forward though bad parts or swears because kids are watchi too. It's great.

I really love this show. It shows adult love without much drama without to much sex scenes. It's just pure and beautiful.

I can't wait to watch the Season 4. I have watched Seasons 1 to 3 many times already. Just the thought that there is a place like Virgin River that provides warmth and comfort to readers gives an unexplainable feelings, the love and affection that every characters show in many different ways. I so love it.

I also finished it! What did you think about this season? Personally I found previous 3 seasons a bit better than this one... I literally fell asleep sometimes lol. But otherwise good. Can't wait for 5th season!

Season 4 was awesome. I loved every moment of it. I love the chemistry between Mel and Jack. Their relationship has its ups and downs just like every other. It was nice to see Hope being her miserable self, a miss from Season 3. I literally cried when Ricky was leaving. The revelation from Charmaine was heartbreaking but Jack is not left with any. I love love Virgin River...the cast and omg the breathtaking scenery. I await Season 5. I was on eggshells awaiting Season 4. Love that show.

I recently found Virgin River after getting Netflix, I watched all episodes in a week, I really became obsessed with what was happening, needless to say I am now in a hold pattern, I can’t wait till it starts up again, ❤
