We Catholics knock Him well

I went to a catholic school and honestly I loved going to the church, with all the statues snd stained glass windows, very beautiful. As a little girl I would love to walk through the convent gardens. I found a lot of peace there and even wanted to become a nun at one point. However, as I grew older and begun searching my spirituality and my relationship with God.... I came to learn through the Bible scriptures that we are not supposed to make/carve images of anything in Heaven (which also includes angels by the way )... Having little statues of mother Mary up in your garden or in your church or home is wrong... Praying to mother Mary is even worse. WE ARE TO PRAY TO GOD AND GOD ONLY through the name of JESUS. Remember Jesus himself said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Anyone having these statues of Mary up in their homes and gardens I would say to them, that this is a form of idol worship. Be careful. Ask the Lord to show you the scriptures pertaining to this... 🙏 God bless you all. Sending much Love to you 💕

This is not idol worship. Research the Hindu religion, that's idolatry. These are simply representations/reminders of Jesus and Saints :) kind of like a picture of your grandma or father or someone you love.

The Bible says God put statues of angels in his temple. Read the description of Solomon's temple. More importantly, Jesus promised to found one unified Church and that he would never leave it or let it fall into apostasy. There must be a visible Church to exercise his authority just like he said. Also, the Bible says that Christ "brought all things in heaven and earth together." That means Mary and the other saints are all united to Christ.

@@raymondsaint4156 so bowing and kneeling before them. Kissing their feet. Talking to them. Decorating them is not a form of idol worship. Making a statue of jehovah and the Holy Spirit (in man form) are not graven images. We never saw jesus but we do make statues of him? People are attached to statues, while they should be attached tho god and god alone. 🤍🕊

@@antoninoskomnenos1022 yes but they are not united to us. And the angels of Salomo’s temple were cherubs and not Cupid like angels. With two wings looking like children or young women. They didn’t bow to these cherubs, they didn’t talk to these cherubs and they didn’t ask these cherubs to protect them or anything. These statues were only to decorate the temple. Only to decorate, it had no use for the spiritual lives of the Jews who went to the temple, it was ONLY for gods pleasure.
