Love this band - found them by tracking the musicians involved in the wonderful Heilung LIFA concert and the magnificent drummer turned out to be none other than Jacob Lund. Major find for me - terrific music, don't understand a word of it but I get the gist and Mia is just lovely

I would say slavs and northern european people have the same roots if you go back far enough, so it'd make sense for there to be cultural similarities.
