PLUS, I probably shouldn't say this but I give thumbs down on other channels when false, negative and rude comments are written about you and your channel. I don’t know where to begin. My sister and I have known Dean since high school and reconnected when his and his wife when they enrolled their daughters in dance when they were three and two. Both of my nieces danced with them till they left the studio. I have watched these two beautiful girls grow into beautiful woman and have followed their careers throughout. When Miranda started not showing up on their channel I was at a disbelief because I know how close the girls and family are. It breaks my heart and my whole family’s because we love them like family we have celebrated birthdays, graduations and so much more with them. My family and I want to support them in any way we can. As a dance mom and amateur dancer myself, I can understand how dancers would be vulnerable to this kind of cult control. You grow up in a discipline that requires intense dedication and discipline. You rely a lot pn your teachers/authority figures. The professional world is flooded with talent…it is all about who you know, which makes people reluctant to criticize those in authority. I had seen these dancers on IG…and am horrified that this has happened to these young people. 😫

Thx for your valuable insight. I never made the connection that children who are involved in highly disciplined activities - like the dance world you described - are at a greater risk to be groomed and lured into the arms of ppl like that. It all makes sense now. And I suppose children raised by adults who micromanage their lives are at a higher risk of being caught in the same trap.

Do you know all of their afes? Do you know where they reside? Do you know what church they are with? Do you know the Pasted/Teacher of the church? If so you need to share along with your opinion, so everyone else can stop the rumors. You have no idea who reads these. Let's help make things better not worse for them okay. @Aileen Bell

I feel for these people. I married into The Church of God. It's a branch of Pentecostalism. My husband's family (now ex husband), were all leaders in the church. His grandfather was lead pastor. Mother was lead minister of music, etc. We faithfully attended church (every Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night). If for some reason we weren't there one day, for whatever reason (both myself and my ex husband are registered nurses, so 99.999999% of the time, it was because we had to WORK), church members were driving by our house and stalking us, so they could later confront us as to why we weren't there. "Missed you at church, but I saw your cars in the driveway at home, were y'all sick???" Passive aggressive bullshit. Plus, tithing. It is MY business how much I tithe, and that it is the appropriate amount. It tore our marriage apart. If you want a deep dive, look into Faith Church in Sherman, Texas. (That wasn't my church, thank God, but this particular church is NUTS! They date back to the 1960's. They had prayer rooms, in which they would literally kidnap and lock people in the prayer room, to "pray them through." Also, on more than one occasion, they kidnapped females and shaved their heads for punishment if they think said female did something wrong. This church rivals the IBLP like no other. Seriously, Faith Church! Please look into them! There is a juicy website www.informe.com/faithchurch, if anyone wants to look into them. Not to mention, these people that run this church are EVERYWHERE in our community. They are surgeons, accountants, police officers, teachers, insurance agents, on the city council, etc. Ugh! Psychos!)

I can keep going. But it’s all a concern. I fear for my child’s future.

Thank you so much for all that you are doing to continue to bring this light! ❤️🙌🏾🔑 I know it’s tough managing so many stories on so many different social media platforms and I appreciate the intention and detail you are taking with this issue. It’s so sad seeing professional dancers that I have looked up to for so long be wrapped in this and I am praying/meditating for all of the victims and families involved that this ends soon . Popular organizations/studios like Dancers Alliance and Millennium Dance Studios 👀👀 (regardless of location) should be actively posting/educating the dance community on this so that future dancers who may be moving to LA aren’t lured in with these same destructive and manipulative individuals. And also, it seems like lots and lots of dancers knew about this for quite a while, especially with stuff being dated back all the way in 2005, so I want to encourage everyone to speak up sooner, rather than later when your intuition picks up bad energy and other evidence supports your feelings because with all of the information regarding the immensely talented Krump community and the many times that this evil energy has tried to prey on members of it, I just wish that more people took a stand and made it known publicly in different circles sooner in the way that we know now so that we as a community could have permanently eradicated this virus since it seems like there is two common denominators in all of this. Sending love, light and compassionate energy to everyone , including the other dancers in the community that are sharing this information and continuing to help get the word out. My biggest hope is that once this is over, all of the dancers can get the proper therapy and counseling needed to heal fully from this traumatic experience and that each one can then continue their dance career on a foundation that isn’t based on control, deceit, and corruption but instead grounded in joy, self-love and true community. 🙏🏾✨🌺✨🙏🏾

You start with a susceptible group... someone with mental/financial/emotional issues (grieving, got out of a bad relationship, highly in debt, etc) then you add in a highly charismatic narcissist. It's really a simple equation. You say it could never be you, but then I know you've never met a highly charismatic narcissist. You don't see or smell the bs, you just join in. It's basically the same way people get in to abusive relationships.

I'm honestly shocked! I love these dancers and started watching the Netflix video, and it took a while to click who I Miranda actually was. I had to go back to look at the KZread videos to confim. This family could have lost BOTH of their daughters but for that need for her sisters to pick up a friend from the airport! I must say that it strikes me that there is more to the death of "Twitch" . Also it may be too late to button this down, but people need to be REALLY careful in how they advertise their children's talent on line. Scary scary stuff (and NO I don't know the solution... Pandoras Box has well and truly been opened.

Thanks for this fascinating content. If you’re interested in other weird cult church/dance connections, check out the story of the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC. It’s closing now and lots of sordid info is coming out. As a former professional ballerina, I can imagine how easily aspiring dancers could become enmeshed in a cult. It’s an extremely difficult and precarious career with emerging artists in a particularly vulnerable position.

Also……Katsura Kan. Unfortunately it is easy for a con to manipulate artist, especially dancers, into a cult. We’ve already trained to have incredible discipline, we know we have to live a life that’s not “normal” to the average person and we know how to sacrifice for our craft, it’s so easy for a manipulative sociopath to con someone like that into their grip. I’ve know the Wilkings for decades. I don’t know who that was in the video I saw today but it definitely wasn’t the Miranda I knew. The little girl who was an extra in the first movie I did, the teen who danced with my collegiate dance crew, the girl who would sing for our entire class because she had an incredible voice too……it wasn’t her at all. Heartbreaking 💔

Wow... I've watched a lot of these dancers and had no idea. How awful 😞 Thank you so much for the hard work you do. You are so committed to bringing truth out and willing to dive deep for it. I'm sure you get ur share of hate. I remember watching a video where this women tried dragging ur name. I definitely left a comment lol Hey, I wanted to ask you something, have you watched "The Family" on Netflix? It's a documentary series from 2019. Not to be confused with Australian "Cult of the Family". The cult I'm referring to is a conservative Christian group that holds a strong influence in Washington, D.C., with global ambitions. I honestly think that's why Jim Bob Duggar wants so badly to be a position of power through politics. In this cult they believe politicians are chosen by God. Which is why conservative Christians groups support certain political leaders that say and do very bad things. This group is extremely powerful and far reaching and I think they sincerely need to be kept in the spotlight as they're running the world behind the scenes. I realize ur very busy with this interesting story. I'm just wondering if somewhere in the future you'd have any interest deep diving that story? I'd love to hear ur take. Anyway, be safe & take care

You mentioned how to convince law enforcement that it’s an issue. In my town, there is a cult called House of Prayer. They were getting in trouble with law enforcement because of child abuse claims and family members of cult members trying to get their relative back. I was in Jury Duty and heard a case where a dad was trying to get his two young sons back from the cult and while the cult was being investigated, all of a sudden the House of Prayer have the police department a pizza party, which was advertised on Facebook, and then the city threw the cult a parade!!!! No updates on the case after that.
