I scan any bar code and instantly it tells you if they are profiting from the occupation or war profiteering... and I boycott that item and buy something. I am American, and as young university student in the late 1970s, I was involved the anti-apartheid movement that sought divestment from apartheid South Africa. I am proud to say that my daughter, who is in university now, is participating in the Pro-Palestinian movement on her campus. I am very moved to see this lady point out the relationship between the two movements across time. I look forward to the time when Palestine is free. I would love to see Netanyahu in the dock at the Hague, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing some of my own country's Presidents and politicos there with him. I'm white, with a little bit of Cherokee on both sides, but can't trace it yet because it used to be illegal to be Cherokee outside the reservation in Oklahoma, so nobody broadcast their genealogy if they wished to remain "free". My maternal family has lived in northeastern Alabama, southern Appalachia, for 194 years, & I've had a love/hate relationship with my homeland my entire life. Despite strip mining & companies pouring chemicals in our streams, our rolling hills & mountains are still beautiful. There has always been racism here. My maternal grandfather, who once spoke out in favor of African- American civil rights, which resulted in a cross being burned in his yard. What about all the wars in Africa that nobody talks about. She just decided to take her 3 minutes of fame and pile on Israel. They don't say anything as to how this conflict got started. Or why Egypt doesn't accept Palestinian refugees, Jordan killed more Palestinians than Israel on black September, and nobody says anything about that... If she talks about that, the terrorists will come for her.
