Yes I haven’t laughed like this in awhile

I worked in a department store when I was 18 and did this. I called the customer service desk from a phone in the back and said I was waiting outside for my dad and that we were running late for an event. So the lady got on the intercom and said 'If there is a Phil McCracken in the store, your party is waiting outside. Phil McCracken. Thank you'

All this needed was Amanda Hugginkis and Anita Bath to make it perfect

Maybe the reason he didn’t respond was because he would have gotten sued or fired, or worse professionally discredited. The best approach was exactly what he did. Now the real culprit can be held accountable for this childishness. I’m all for a sense of humor, but it has to be at the right place and at the right time. In this case, it was convenient for everyone except those involved.

@@gigi6374 I didn’t know he was doing that, however I don’t think resorting to elementary tactics is the answer. I do know that some communities and societies are very serious about CRT, so they should be taken seriously. I think in the future, we should do more of backing our arguments with robust data, either ideological or empirical. A little more empathy may be helpful.

Brilliant. First he says "Phil McCracken" with all this confidence and a little growl, like it's a command, and then we get a somewhat more tentative "Phil McCracken?" in a softer, more questioning voice as if to say, "No takers?" And then he proceeds to read through the rest of the list from "Soukh Meddick" all the way to "Wayne Kerr" without a single clue whatsoever. Just epic.

Sad part is I'm sure dude totally gets that it's a joke, he's probably just too afraid to laugh on the off chance one of those names is real and he gets "cancelled"... Funny asf though
