I'm asian and i almost peed in my pants watching these videos! I can help answer to most of your questions here. Yes, there is this sort of standard in asia where big eyes, sharp nose, longer-sharper chin-jaw area and white as pale skin complex are the only way to be noticed as beautiful.. Asians naturally have small eyes, they usually use contact lenses and tapes to make it look bigger, here in asia it's not shameful. Although, the techniques these girls use in their videos are definitely next level.Those tapes on their neck prevents double chin, therefore you can stick your "extra skin" to make your jaw line a complete different look. Those things they put in their nose are little sticks to make their nose pointy and sharp, i'm guessing it feels uncomfortable. And most girls in asia would want their skin complex to be as white as hell. 99% of our skincare and lotions consists of whitening chemicals. I hope this helps you understand more of our weird and different standard.. i enjoyed your videos so much.. keep it up joseph

Here I am over in the mid west (Missouri) and I just want my skin to be somewhat even skin tone. My arms, legs and face are naturally a lot darker than my torso and upper thigh/butt region because they don't see the sun like ever. I don't need to be like super tan I just want to be at least an even color. I don't get our stigma as Americans about being so fricken tan. (Tanning beds, spray tans, excessive sun bathing, and loads of bronzer).

I guess the chalk white pale face and red lips has been considered beautiful to them for centuries especially how one could boldly wear just her face chalk white because I immediately thought of the Geisha Girls makeup look but now they atleast try to cover their neck, ears, chest etc now. Also this is a first me seeing the neck and chin tape stuff...how do they hide it if someone is viewing them from the side especially if they don’t wear their hair down to cover it? Or is that too one of those things that it’s acceptable even if noticeable? Nose contouring especially on some of these girls are next levelll omggg!?! I’ve been a makeup artist doing “soft glam” back early 2000s before it was even called that and soft contour before Kim K made it popular with none MUAs and I couldn’t standdd seeing women with those hard ass draggish looking makeup! I’m glad I didn’t change my style to follow that trend cause now years later with people not being able to tell if people are a man or woman they had to tone it down now calling it soft glam. It’s like the women went harder, piles of makeup and harsh contours trying to follow the drag queen makeup trend while they ended up with better looking softer makeup than the biological women (I’m not finna play with y’all bout these pronouns now sheesh 😩🤦🏽‍♀️😂)...anyways I’m a new subscriber and enjoy your commentary! 💯💓
