Hello Mark, thanks for doing these videos. I’m getting back into my slot cars and like seeing what you are doing. I’ve been looking at these vipers and may pick a couple up after watching the video.

Ok thanks. It seems that the Viper track gives more cornering grip than the plastic track does. Is that a correct assumption?

@@miker1721 I would say yes that is correct, better handling all around if your car is setup right for a routed track.

I have several AFX Super G Plus, SRTs, Bulldog SRTs, and Viper Formula Vs. Have you run any of those chassis on your track, and what time did they turn? I’m just trying to gauge the performance difference with your cars that you ran here.

@@miker1721 I have all of those cars and have run them on my track. The Viper Formula V is very similar to a Viper VSPEC. Most of the cars you have listed will run under 4 seconds on my track, some in the low 3's and some in the high 3s. A hot stock 6 ohm car like I built will get down under 3 seconds on my track, 2.7 second range. The lower ohm cars like the 2.5 ohm car get you down in the low 2s. Hope that helps.
