I have a question. I found out that one of the managers at Torrey Pines was a racist and confronted him about it. A few months later he set me up and got me in big trouble with the city. No matter who I talk to at The City, they back him up. That management is despised by everyone that works there. Any suggestions?

@@MrShortGame Thanks, but not these guys. They talk down to the least of the employees and have ran off very good people because of it. EVERY employee at that course is scared to death of them.

Nothing wrong playing Muni courses. Trevino did OK on them when he started. The only difference is you cant drive a cart across the greens on Muni,s, but you can on Trumps courses.

Matt didn’t stop smiling. He clearly had a great time. Thanks for sharing and letting us in. Always love to see these! It’s a different world us common folk don’t ever get to experience.

My uncle happens to be a member here. I played the New course last year and was truly the best experience ive had on a golf course absolutely stunning amazing, amazing piece of land

Glad to see you mention the significance of "ringing the bell". An old military O' Club tradition wherein if you're celebrating, you ring it as indication you are buying a round for the whole club. If a poor young 2LT would ring it haphazardly without cause, the penalty is buying a round for the entire club! Well done Matt.

Its also a tradition to "buy the bar" if you should venture behind the sacred furniture. Yes, this happened to me as a LT at Nellis. Took me months to recover.

They are so satisfying lol. I think for me it's because I know it's the only look I will ever get :) That and Matt looks like a kid in a candy shop every time which also helps :)

Im glad you were able to play here and even more happy to be able to watch. Thankfully, my uncle’s a member so ive gotten to play a few times. They’re both amazing courses, but incredibly difficult!

Great Review.. Watched the LIV on "YT Saturday" excellent coverage. Frankly, it was as good as being there. You got hear the players chatter good or bad, players fist bumping with fans everyone having a good time. We need something positive now days.

The videos you’ve recently done with Liv courses have been my favorites, I love all the access they give and how much fun you have, makes me feel like I toured the clubs and played on the courses

What a course!! Never jealous but very envious. Great job. Definitely a top 3 of your private club visits.

Nice. I live in a small Posh Southwest Florida city & we have 94 courses. Only 4 or 5 are open to the public. There is a huge disparity in my Golfing Community! You cannot even get onto any course in high season! They open up for the public with the PGA Golf Pass in the Summer. Otherwise Extremely Private! They're nice! I've visited 16 private clubs this summer & all have pretty much the same experience as this club. TPC Treviso Bay, The Ritz Carltons Tiburon, Kensington C.C. we're all pretty posh. They have all the amenities you could ever want but it's not like you even have the time to use them. In summer need to tee off at 9am the latest to beat the rain & the ridiculous heat! So I have never used the facilities. Mr Short Game, you've inspired me! Next game I will try out the showers, steam room, hot tub & pool lolol I think it's going too feel AWKWARD haha Going to feel like I'm a houseless person!

We were near the Trump course at Doonbeg, Ireland a couple of years ago. The setup there looks equally luxurious but we couldn't get in without pre-booking :)

Hey Matt, nice course review! Trump Bedminster is right in my backyard. I've played there a bunch of times and it is truly a fantastic golf facility. I've also had the pleasure of meeting John Deloreon on several occasions and am glad you mentioned him. He was always a perfect gentleman. He ended up getting royally screwed by the feds but was later exonerated. After his trial, all the lawyers came after him for their legal fees and he was forced to sell his beloved estate. How did you enjoy your stay here in New Jersey?
