Although ep 10 was extremely sad, Violet’s backstory seems worse in my opinion. Having to lose the only person who ever seemed to trusty care about you, then remembering all those lives your hands killed, man that just sucks.

everything about violet evergarden is a masterpiece Storyboard, animation, lyrics, character development, directing, character design KyotoAnimation is definitely something else!

I'm sure it's a joke... But I'll answer honestly anyways... Love is a 2 sided sword.... It can be a pain and it can hurt... A lot... But if you find that one person that's right... It can be the most beautiful feeling in the world... It can give you scars and break you into pieces... But it can also heal all your wounds (metaphorically speaking) and make you whole again...it can make you feel weak but it can also give you strength....

Try to remember as much scenes as you can from episode 10 Violet arrives at a mansion where a young girl named Anne lives with her wealthy but sickly mother. Anne's mother has hired Violet for seven days to write letters, but Anne is not told what the letters are about or who they are for. In addition, Anne is both mistrustful and fascinated by Violet, as she mistakenly believes her to be an actual living doll due to her prosthetic arms. Over the next week, Anne comes to accept Violet but cannot accept being separated from her mother while the letters are written. After an angry outburst by Anne, Violet manages to calm Anne down and convince her not to blame herself for her mother's illness. The letters written, Violet leaves and eventually, the mother dies. Afterward, Anne begins receiving the letters from her mother written by Violet and grows up to start a family of her own. Back at the post office, Violet reveals to her co-workers that the letters would be delivered to Anne on her birthdays for the next fifty years and is overcome with emotion at the thought of Anne having to live alone after her mother's death.

@@iagonatan901 How the hell is that a bad thing i have my own opinion,You have ur own opinion and I dont care about your opinion The reason I didnt like this anime is because I dont rlly feel any emotion.. i feel like its a burden rather than a benefit... and emotion is expressed in this anime I dont even care about romance and I dont even know why people want to have kids... to me its all a burden...The only thing important in my life are my parents and stuff... I Vomit at the sight of romance.

The anime bought tears to my eyes but your voice made em come full circle

First time I've heard of this song, I was totally caught off guard on how beautiful it was. Not even knowing the meaning behind and the story its supposed to foretell. However, in watching this series, Violet Evergarden, I knew the true beauty of it. Ever since the day I first listened to this song, I kept on listening to it everyday. It is such a beautiful song.
